The story goes the photographer took the photo and, after developing it, handed it off to the Lincolns while disposing of the negative. The photographer thought at the time that Lincoln had a few more years in his term and that there would be more opportunities to photograph the president.

The frame shown in the video is probably frame 312, as frame 313 is the first frame showing Kennedy's fatal shot. I still find incredibly surprising how the video is actually there and probably the reason why fewer people than it should have seen the video is cause it is so bloody than you can't show it in a RUclips video.

They also had some failed assassins. While they all told their stories there was an air of disdain around them, and points where some looked ridiculous. There was also a song, Something Just Broke, about regular people affected by the assassinations. If you’re into dark history there are some good bootlegs on here.

Carter's longevity is insane! The only president to live to the 40th anniversary of his inaugriration, 40th annivertsary of his leaving office, and only president to ever live past the age of 94. While he almost certainly won't become a centenarian at this point having been in hospice for almost a year (and recently losing his wife of 77 years). It's hard to not marvel at an increidble life! The Theodore Roosevelt last photo I believe was taken early in 1918. Roosevelt was in considerable pain in his final days and spent time in bed. He died in January 1919, and pictures of his burial show snow on the ground. I don't see any snow, at least, in the posted photo. He looked older in some other 1918 photos that I've seen. So, I might be wrong on this, but I doubt that we're seeing his last photo here.
The "last formal photo" of Abraham Lincoln is wrong. That was taken on February 5, 1865. The last photo was taken on March 6, 1865. Lincoln, in that photo, was looking in a 3/4 view to his left. William McKinley was shot on September 6, 1901 so how was his last photo taken on September 9th?

Currently it looks like Jimmy Carter is close to dying, as he need to have someone take care of him and hes bedridden. He will most likely die within the next few days.
