Fitting you started with Mickey Thompson’s Mach 1 Mustang as Danny Ongais recently passed away. Those were the days. Never thought I’d see them again but Funny Car Chaos is doing a great job of bringing to life those days once again.👍🏻❤️😎
Roland Leong's 1970 Charger was the most beautiful funny car in my opinion. The paint was gorgeous, chrome everywhere and it was fast! The only other car at the time that came close to it as far as beauty would have to be Mike Mitchell's aa/gs vette, another masterful paint job, chrome everywhere and when the body was up it was lined in red felt on the inside surface of the body, a true show piece that ran well too.
Loved the funny cars then they at least looked like the counter parts you can buy and had engines that were true to car ford for ford chevy for chevy chysler for chysler not like today .
Lol yeah I most of been asleep watching this or something don't know we're that even came from . I fill so dumb . You are so right it was 64 Funny Cars.
When artists met with horsepower... No cookie cutter cars
Love it, I remember the 64 funny car meets at OCIR! and watching Force run when he cutting his teeth!
Crazy! That was a nice setting, all stucco & chicken wire "homes" now....

A beauty! I liked Pisano & Matsubara's yellow Vega also
Those were the days. Ramp trucks and long burnouts.

Why is this the only place iv ever seen that 4WD Vega? Did it not get raced much?
It was wrecked pretty bad almost killed the driver and the idea was abandoned after that!
