Dutch Profiles: Joline Jolink

Joline Jolink is a fashion entrepreneur who chose to stop doing catwalkshows and refuses to let third parties sell her work. She directly communicates with her customers on her own terms. Jolink graduated in 2003 from Artez Insitute. She is the first Dutch fashion designer to exclusively sell through her own stores or - more importantly- her own webshop, that she started in 2008.
Allthough Jolinks clothing is made from high quality materials and always meant to be wearable, it is also fashion, due to her personal approach. Each new collection is inspired by an exceptional role model from the past.

Hi!
For a school project about the ‘shelf life’ of clothing I am creating a small documentary with some fellow students. In this documentary we want to show our project and research. For our research we really wanted to have an interview with Joline Jolink, however she didn’t have the time. I wanted to ask if we could use some footage of your interview with Joline Jolink to show her way of working and het view on fashion. Of Course we will show the source of the footage.
