Synopsis:

Ah these dramas. It would be a deal breaker for most people. I can't understand people who still hand onto an ex like a hang nail. Apparently his hands are full and the gf is trusted to take care of herself like a cactus plant. Thankfully she's got great friends who I would love to have myself. The sad thing is that he is considered one of her great friends too. She was there for him when he needed someone. We'll see how much she can take but at least she a strong FL. Stronger than other ones i've seen.

@@m_l_ek3857 well at least she made him wait and work for her forgiveness. Most FL's just hear I'm sorry and they forgive all the crap. It's a step in the right direction. As for the ex, well if it takes her getting a new bf to leave this couple alone, i'll take that option. I guess my standards are a bit low but hey it's just a drama.

The way you explained about the other needing someone else to leave them alone is a good way to look at it. C-dramas are always as you say. I guess I'm too old and nasty to give others a 2nd chance in dramas. Lol. Hope you like it.
@@m_l_ek3857 yeah I feel yeah. I guess i'm a hopeless romantic. He truly loves her and watches out for her when she's not aware. I understand his position and the whys, but I disagree on some of his actions. Other ML's in other dramas make my head hurt and pissed off on how callous, mean, and vicious they can be with the FL and expect to be forgiven. Normally in a Lifetime Network movie they'd be considered a villain/creep even if the drama itself is good. This one is better. I am enjoying it more than most. Hopefully the FL becomes more the norm for their strength and love of self. We women are stronger/tougher than we appear.
The drama name is "Almost Lover" and I have just finished watching episode 31. I am so glad this female lead has not forgiven him yet and too easily like in other dramas as soon as the say 'sorry' for breaking up or being constantly put second to the ex-girlfriend.

@@m_l_ek3857 sadly no, after her stupidity creates even more trouble for the ML, they force a redemption arc on us. You know chinese dramas, she says, I'm sorry and all is forgiven. She is getting another love intrest, that is way too good for her. She is coddled and looked after by everyone, the ML, FL and all their friends.

Normally a caring heart is what you want in a man...but you hope it's for you as priority 1...but alas, it was for the damsel in distress. It sucks being the practical, responsible person that everyone can depend on to take care of themself. Unfortunately FL's fears of ML still caring for the ex are real. I can hear the death knoll for this relationship. No matter what, FL has her friends to help her in her hour of need but I think ML made some enemies with that move. He just gave Ranran's friend SUI a foot in the door for her affections. Well ML lived without Ranran for 3 yeas, what's a few decades more. Ranran is pretty much planning her escape from this hot mess. I like the ML but boy he f'ed up this one and knowing him the mistakes will keep coming.
Clips are interesting guest I have to put this on my watch list, but as for me being humiliated and hurt I would investigate and get my revenge,I would cut all ties with everyone there leave a d rebuild my life stronger and better,family can be the worse greedy and selfish,jealous.
