- Hey folks. I added a Dasmicro v5 gyro. $15-20 usd. That transformed the car to a very capable AWD drift car. I also showed you how I got the rear suspension mod for a bit of suspension in the rear.

Very cool mod. I did the same but using two pieces of cardboard as springs/shocks with a new body attached, and works really good. I recomend for those who like the bmw, that at least the mustang chassis can be used with the DTM BMW M4 1/43 diecast from RMZ, and looks awesome. Built a realistic sandpaper track that gives it a lot of grip ( i dont use it to drift it) whilst both suspensions makes it look very realistic absorbing each little bump and the increase of weight from the diecast body makes it more drivable.

@@albertdelbosco9686 yeah. My suspension mod helps. But I’m hoping these really take off and they decide to upgrade with rear suspension and gyro.
That’s why I keep posting to make them popular so the manufacturer can take notice and revise them for v2.

Can you get different textured tires? They're just too slippery, the ones you have.
@@DorianGreer it comes with 2 sets. Drift and soft race. There is a company that makes some 3D printed tires for it. On AliExpress.

hey man, I watched your vids and got a gyro (still being shipped) cause I have the same RC. (R34)
do you reckon a better battery with a higher capacity will fit inside with a gyro installed? cause I am planning on adding under-glow as well. I'm worried that the stock battery isn't enough to power a gyro and more LEDs for a suspended amount of time.
I also made the car RWD to make drifting easier.
@@Climax_Lv.15 it can be added but looks like it will have to go po. Top of the chassis. More surgery than I wanted :). 200mah is a lot for that lil

@@Climax_Lv.15 yeah but it will reduce run time. With gyro I get about 10-15 min nonstop.

@@t3flozI just bought the Porsche on aliexpress and it came with the gyro installed for $55 . I just added weight to it and it drifts good!
