This is the third in a series of webinars which will support your work as a governor with specific regard to promoting the educational outcomes of Children in Care in your school.
School governors have a duty and responsibility to ensure that their school keeps the education of children in care as a high priority.
These webinars aim to help you better understand the difficulties Children in Care may encounter, the services in place to support them and the role of the most significant partners, including the Virtual School. You will also hear about the responsibilities and role of school governors in relation to children and young people in care together with suggestions and ideas on the kind of effective actions governors can take.
