Good, honest review. I appreciate the critiques of the product. I think the skid pads on top are intended to be used in conjunction with proper bolting to minimize vibration and movement. Think of them as rubber washers or lock washers. If you're in a smaller vehicle, this means it needs to be fully broken down and assembled each time (which I guess is the entire point of the product). The 10 minute disassemble and packup time doesn't seem very practical with venue managers tapping their foot while waiting for us to get out so they can go home, but certainly an option for people who really want totems but don't have room to haul trussing. I never got the whole attraction to totems personally but that's just a personal preference thing.

question: you secured your intimidator on to the top with a bolt.. is it set up for that? OR.. did u drill a hole and use your own bolt?, washer etc? thank you again for this post it's very very helpful. i am using them for Chauvet Intimidator 260s and also using them for lighting decorations as well for wedding's and parties etc.. my concern {LIKE U MENTIONED} is about lil kids, running into these things or drunk Uncles and aunt's bumping into them during a line dance or a disco flashback... :) . but yes these are good frame's . thanks thanks thanks a thousand times . this is a great tutorial. May I know the type of moving heads used
I have a pair of these, I do have to allow additional time for setup! But they do look great. 😎🎧👍
The pads could be used to reduce vibration along with properly mounting your speaker/light.
Question I'm thinking about buying these stands, would they hold QSC k12.2 an would they look good on the stands?
5 years later how did they hold up? What about the fact that there was no divider; did they get scuffed up?

With a screw and a mounting bracket. The bracket is included in the purchase
of moving head.

Can you fit a Chavet intimidator spot 360's on top? And can a adj wifly par qa5 fit in side?
Hello,
yes you can fit the Chauvet intimidator spot 350, 355, & 360 on that top plate. the top portion is a 12x12 inch plate fits most standard to midsized heads and you can fit that par inside as well.

The Novopro PS1XL is not designed to mount displays on.
You would need full size trussing in order to do so.

I have the 8ft rockville totems. Great build and the bags are WAY better than I expected. The 8ft are $50 cheaper than these and the same model than these are $100 cheaper. Identical totems

these are great at first it may seem a bit of a hassle but afterwards not at all. also these are great fro djs who do not have a large vehicle great for or if your in a small vehicle.
