  • I Had a bit of a hectic weekend last weekend, down in Wiltshire, but me and my daughter found a spare half an hour to go check out a nice perch that she knew 10 minutes away from her home.
Not a very long video today as I've come down with a nasty bout of Flu since we got back and struggled to get this one together, but hope you enjoy the video.

Hi AL thanks for trying that's radio for you,one question what is the correct voltage for a CB cos I've noticed yours is 12.4 on your car but mostly it's meant to be like 13.8 I think.. because I've bought one of them cheap light ones which you can alternate the voltage.anyway thanks for all your work you do for us, and see you soon Alan from LUTON 💯👍

Cars can be between 11.2 to 14.2 volts. 13.8vDC is the voltage car batteries sit at fully charged. That is why it is 13.8 volts DC that most car appliences are marked. But be careful if you plug in a hand held to a car cigarette lighter, as some of these have a max operating voltage of 12 vDC. BoB4jjjj's

I use a leasure battery, so voltage will drop, but it shouldn't matter much unless there is a dramatic drop, leasure battery when fully charged is,about 13v maybe more or less. But if I was to have engine running when transmitting there would be more voltage. Hope that makes sense, still suffering here atm with this damn Flu. 🤧
