I am in the after-problem, this is where I am completely over the men of my past but every night I dream about them and the dreams are flooded with euphoria that I know is meant to make me miss them. I wake up and think about these dreams and my reaction is: nice try Devil. He was never that nice, he was never that loving, and he is not even that attractive anymore. I know the devil can't read my mind, he just knows what worked before, so he is just throwing every temptation attempt he can think of and once again has overplayed his hand because he made them too evil in the relationship and too easy to get over so none of them are tempting. God has freed me from wanting any of that back. But that python video has me knowing, something bad hanging around inside of me that this is an ongoing issue. I forget normal dreams before I even open my eyes all the way, I know something is not normal about these dreams coming at me all the time. So just know getting over the man you're tied to right now is only step 1. The devil is gonna try to use your feelings for YEARS to come LONG after you've come into agreement with God about abstinence and your worth and wanting what HE wants for you. Maybe Tiffany could hold a group fast and we could hold each other accountable, because I don't like this phase either!!!

Thank you for this lesson Tiffany! I am currently trying to break a soul tie with my boyfriend, my child’s father. It’s so difficult because I met him when I was 17 and he’s 12 years older, I believe I was soul tied a few weeks in because I was naïve and infatuated. I’ve dealt with so much emotional and mental trauma. But still with him, still committing fornication, and I know I can’t forgive him while still with him. But I feel so codependent and still have love for him. 😩😢

Well, actually I was frustrated one-day at a restaurant but I showed I was upset in a nicer way, trying to prove my point. I felt condemned when I left. I went back to the store and blessed her with the tip that was given to me and I apologized. I felt so much better and so did she, no matter who fault it was.

I can attest to the upbringing of some women In the Mississippi area. I was born and raised in Arkansas. When I became a young adult, the mindset was "find you a man in Mississippi, they will marry and take care of you." A lot of women from my area followed this format. However, my mom divorced my dad because he had a whole other family in the next town; he would come home with no money on pay day. She divorced him immediately,when she found out. So, I was raised to never ever be dependent on a man! Fiercely, lol! In some ways this made was a problem because I was "overly" independent. It made me terrified of putting my life in someone else's hands. Today, I've found balance, worked on trust, and still believe a woman should always have something of her own... if for nothing else for self-esteem. It still baffles me that a lot of men, especially affluent ones, think all women want to be saved.
Happy to see the Lord has allowed you to find the balance fam. I know a lot of men drop the ball unfortunately and it has a Ripple effect on many peoples lives I don't think all independence is bad at all but sometimes it's tough for Godly men who are trying to do the right thing and properly steward their role when they have to fight a battle of someone's past even though they have given you no reason to fear the same outcome with them especially when they walk talk and live the faith seriously and you can see the hand of God governing his life. I’m so glad your talking about strong hold smoking is not a strong hold but for me like a habit it is not hard to break. Nonetheless I take comfort in to deal with stress worries. I feel like once I overcome my worries I’ll give up smoking. I dont want to take medication for my mental anxiety, because they maybe more than necessary.
