Needing some aspirational inspiration? Take a gander at this interview we did (many moons ago) with Wicked's Tony Award winning costume designer Susan Hilferty! It was a huge honor to be able to take a private look at all those amazing costumes! #costumes #inspirational
This women is my idol. I can't believe she did all this and the wonderful crew who put it together. I'm right now making 120 costumes for our school play and to even think about making them last so long with such intricate detail is AMAZING!!! I don't know how you do it but hopefully one day I will learn
I watch yalls normal content, and my theatre teacher made us watch this vid. god, the differences in your stuff between then and now - at least its people i like!
wow I didn't realise so much went into the costumes o.o haha when I watched it in london last year I thought the costumes in "Dancing Through Life" would be really fun to wear
Soo much inspiration for working as anartist. Fear CAN destroy everything. Mistakes can be great starting points, and even inspirations in themselves!...
Shit son! That's intense... I wanted to be a theatrical/cinematic costume designer at one point, but that's passed, this has almost inspired me to go after that again.
wow! wouldnt it be fun to try on all the costumes?! i'd like to have a close up view on all the costumes, feel it, check it out and marvel at the construction and fabric that goes into it!
OMG WICKED IS MY LOVE!!! ive seen it.... 7 times? and the costumes are... unexplainably amazing. i can't even express it. susans hilferty is an inspiration
does anyone know where i can contact her?? i'm making a elphaba dress in Textiles at school and i really wanted to write to her to ask her stuff. Thanks!
