So beautiful to see the finished product!!!! Congratulations to you both and thank you for sharing the journey with us! It gives us hope that we'll take delivery of our home one day too!!! We'll be on well water as well and didn't even cross our minds what other units/tanks might be in our utility room. Did you guys have to do anything extra for that? well water treatment systems or anything?
Hey Kennie, yes! Caruso provided a well water test from "Homeland Labs". A Certificate of Analysis. Also, we picked up a water tester from Home Depot or Lowes to test the water hardness. We sent the results over to Discount Water Softeners and they told us what we needed. Initially, they recommended just the water softener to deal with water hardness and the sulfur smell (rotten eggs). I had well water before so, I wanted to add a filter to deal with both smell and hardness. We had a few estimates ($5K - $7K). I am a pretty handy so, I did some research and decided to purchase and install the units myself. I waited a little longer than planned to install the units. The smell got stronger and the iron in the water caused yellow stains. Soon as I noticed that, I installed the softener and filter. Water Filter www.discountwatersofteners.com/iron-filtration/genesis-ozone-chemical-free-iron-and-hydrogen-sulfide-filter-with-bacterial-control/ and Water Softener: www.discountwatersofteners.com/water-softeners/genesis-2-upflow-high-efficiency-1-25-water-softener/. The customer service and tech support is great. They actually answer their phones. Also, the units perform well. I did video most of the install. Hope this helps.
@@billbev-bsquare5226 Thanks for the info!!! We saw 'well water treatment system' on the options list, but they didn't speak to us about something we might want to consider. Will certainly start to look into it. Luckily hubs is also handy- hopefully we'll save some $ as well. Thanks for the links and look forward to checking out the install video!
@@MsKennie I don't think it was an option in our case. Interesting! Being handy can save you about $2,500 or more.

@@MsKennie Hey Now! Great. Our brine tube was not picking up at one time. However, Genesis has tutorials that helped us straighten that out. Our water is clean, ordor free and soft. Did you guys use Genesis?

@@billbev-bsquare5226 Okay i see. Just to make it clear cause i know how this can affect.. i was not trying to make you feel down about it or any type of way. I totally understand that while growing older eyebrows may get thinner although i believe that colouring them was your choice. I would like to advise you to consider another great option which is microblading your eyebrows. Please look into it. I personally have done it cause i wanted a fuller look but also i have a friend with alopecia that did it as well and we are both loving the results.
