Just started playing this game for the first time yesterday and I play in first person and I swear it makes the game so easy. I’m already playing on the highest difficulty and it still feels easy compared to playing in third person
Dude I feel you on the whole power thing, I never feel in control of how much power gets put to the ground even with clutch boosting, it is so inconsistent. I'll do the exact same technique and cornering and one time I'll over jump, the next time I'll case and the time after that I'll only be able to double and I've been playing this game consistently for the last few months

Im not sure if they worked on the A.I or not, but i was doing a full 30 lap race on unadilla, max deform hardest bots, full gate and these bastards were actually keeping up with me, and im not slow ans i usually check out from them, but towards the end of the race i was rolling in 5th, IN 5TH i dont know if i was sucking or something. So what you dont know is they did change the deformation, its a little better then it was its a lot smoother and more easy to hook into ruts and what not. The game is a lot better then when you last played it. But yes, the speed and clutch boosting and bike sounds is still a problem. And rainbow seems to keep dodging on fixing them.
It’s all I’ve been playing lately and you gotta use the clutch out of the corners and pretty much anytime the bike feels slow pop that clutch

Try the “reflex” third person view, took a race to get used to but then it helped me with precision.

i’ve played both because of you had 2500 hours on bikes , i now only play legends only professionally sponsored by dubby energy, kinda fxr gaming, and cinch gaming controllers so its getting more competitive! we have big teams and stuff as well as tournaments with payouts. for not playing this game tho jan, you’re doing pretty good🤘🏼

Okay first, you gotta manually shift to get your power when you need it. And second, you gotta turn the assists way down so you don’t feel like a rolling cartoon😂 it completely changes the game
I enjoy this game only because I can’t play MX bikes (Xbox) but for some reason I just can’t get supercross rythm down down so I mostly do outdoor nationals
We need better lenses for the goggles have clear and tinted customisation for 100 percent and add Oakley airbrakes.
You've got to play around with the new pro physics settings in this game. Would love to see you do a video on how close you could get mx vs atv to mx bikes. For us console players to tweak the game to feel more like bikes in terms of physics. also please play first person, third person looks awful lol.

Legends is pretty simple in its core, bit troy if you play again stop shifting to 5th. In supercross the highest gear should only be 3rd in rhythms, and 4th in straight stretchs. Btw i got a 53 on that track
You might find the games rider physics are a little more predictable/usable if you turn all the physics assists all the way down to 0 in the settings. I find it to be more responsive at speed.
Tell them to add aftermarket triple clamps and clutch covers, swingarm graphics, full exhausts ect.
I finally bought it a few weeks ago, tried to play it like I do Reflex in 3rd person, hated it. Then tried custom 1st person, SO much better than I was expecting. Once I got the clutch boosting and SB/PL down, 👌money
the physics in Mx Vs ATV All-Out is the best out of any mx game hands-down.
All outs physics are the worst since supercross encore shit was so ass

Bro the game is literally 2x better if you turn fov all the way up. I do that with the encore camera. Another thing that you might already do is manual transmission using left and right stick for shifting. Clutch kicking helps with power.
Just spam the clutch for more speed. Also clutch boost at the top of jumps.

Legends has come a long way but the game still feels weird. Online performance is weird but I still like it a lot.
I do play All Out a lot still too. It has that more arcadey feel...much easier to turn and no throttle bogging to me.

I’ll be honest with you, the last time they made a decent game was when Mx Vs ATv’s unleashed came out. I tried this game out, uninstalled within 2-3 hrs.

This game has dual-stick controls for both leaning AND jumping!
Use the left stick (push and pull) for controlling the jump height while in the air, and also use it in combination with the right stick to seat bounce harder.

ah shit, as soon as you said you hate the deformation in the game kinda lost me and then saying the game doesnt feel different is insane. Its obvious you havent been playing it through the updates. The terraforming, the ruts, the berms, all of it is part of supercross and they did a good job on it compared to every other game. You can legit lock into and rail berms, ruts and all. They actually play a huge part and the track breaks down throughout the race as well, making you choose different lines like real life. This game really grabs the realism pretty well, the different surfaces ride different, the weather, wet/dry, all of it is done really well. The track deforms with every action, every lap its good stuff now. Play it with no assist, manual transmission, play with everything! Its the best way, especially running manual.

For more power you need to be abusing clutch boost bro, I don't see you using clutch boost much at all 💯, on some rythum sections I usually change to 3rd mid sections, then clutch boost just as I'm landing again. All love bro keep up the hard work 💪

I just bought it. Whats the deal with the rubber banding? Also the bike handling is a bit floaty. Scrubs are awful. I started career on Pro because I play MXGP 2021 on Pro and mostly finish in the top 3. I was finishing 12th in Legends. Dropped it to Semi Pro. Still 12th. Dropped it again. Nope. Im now on the easiest level and finishing 5th. Bear in mind MXGP 2021 has more realistic and better handling.
Another annoyance is there are no 'out of the box' real world MX bikes. I had to pay for DLC to get 3 KTM bikes. There is also not that much rider gear.
As an MX game its not that good. MXGP 2021 and Supercross 6 are better games.

even on GOAT difficulty the AI is completely terrible. Will just drive off track, and make the same mistakes on multiple laps.

In my opinion mx legends is mid there's barely any maps and can't just join a random freeroam session and there's only 2 freeroam maps unless u pay to buy more and u wobble with the littlest landing and fall off I'll stick with mx vs ATV all out way much more fun
