I mean yes…tasting things can be helpful. But…you can just spit it out. Getting drunk at a job where you need motor/communicative skills and a high degree of focus is…stupid. Especially when your ability to use those skills directly affects how much money you make. Hope it’s going well my friend.

Dont pay for a certification, it is not a requirement anywhere. Learn everything you can for free using resources like my training and others. Then go to the local bar, tell them you want to work there, tell them you will work a night or two for free. Once they see that you know your stuff, you will get a job, no problem.
