There is absolutely no e-sport like SC:BW. It's certainly the most pleasant one to watch. The level of professionalism is way way high, compared to the current popular games (maybe only CS is at the same level).
Would it be possible to fix the length of the video at say 3 hours (with black screen after it ends) to avoid spoilers (knowing the outcome of the last 1-2 games, because of the score)?
Due to youtube algorithms and stuff sadly i dont think Afreeca would do that Ill recommend you use an extension which removes the video count, thats what i do for esport

SPOILERS! ok so the grant total play time was 27 : 44 game 1 lasted 11 : 50 game 2 lasted 11 : 15 game 3 lasted 04 : 39 seems like Shine was unlucky and didnt do his thing over-all bad day for him kinda sucks. but then again you can view it like me Royal kicked ass and chewed bubble gum and he didnt have time for gum.
In the 3rd game I think Shine should have tried to kill the SCV making the bunker instead of chasing the marines, Royal only brought one SCV so it would have made a huge difference to just kill it.
I love watching brood war, but I can't play it anymore. It is so excruciatingly hard to control your units. Really makes you respect those pro players who make it look easy
As soon as game 1 ended and I noticed the VOD length it was obvious who won the match. I know adding 2 hours of blank screen at the end of the VOD is janky and unprofessional but there's gotta be something you can do that is better than this. This is just unwatchable, the whole match is spoiled after game 1.
I just press play and make the video length at the bottom of the screen go away without looking at it. Then I don’t check it at any point after that. If I need to pause I do it without looking at the time. Works all the time.
Amazing casting and game. I have a suggestion, please do not include the player names in the title. For someone who is trying to catch up on the RO16, it's kinda shitty to be spoiled when you're trying to scroll through the videos.

With the new micro for valks, sometimes they do if they are going for armory. But vessels are better long term due to detection and defense matrix in addition to irradiate. Irradiate one of the best spells in the game since it only costs 75 mana and counters the muta stack. Valkyries cost more minerals and can still get wiped by 2 scourge as well.
We havent gotten good TvZs in a while, the only match up where i get to see marines in action and so far all games with this matchup have been disappointing.
As a protoss I'm rooting for royal to win it all I like his demeaner and playstyle. normally I always root for protoss to win it all but you know..... all the good ones lost to best of ones and cheese this season. Haha JK kinda
Shine has no business knocking out far better players like JD in early rounds, and then getting obliterated in the serious rounds. He's a waste of a bracket space and ruins tournaments with his cheesy bullshit.

I think thats the worst ro8 performance i've seen in ASL so far. At least other one sided matches in the past the other player looked like they belonged there but the loser of this match does not belong in the ro8. Damn man its brutal to watch.

You can "premiere" videos on youtube where they basically get released as a stream with no visible length, that would solve this
