Loved the house tour! Appreciate the foresight to use wheelchair accessible doorways. I know you've added bunk beds for possible future fosters. Maybe you can bless a wheelchair bound foster if God opens that door for you. It's wonderful that you are prepared if that path is the way to go. Appreciate your kind and loving hearts. Blessings!

Wow Casey! I’ve been following y’all for a little bit, and just went back to this older one. I’ve seen y’all living in your house but this tour just explained a lot in my head. Such a nice home. Thank you for inviting us in. God bless.
We had to make our house wheelchair accessible after my 1st husband had a major ruptured brain aneurysm stroke in 1994 he passed in 2004 I recommend any person that has a new home built to include in 1 bathroom a raised toilet with grab bars by the toilet and a handicap shower with at least 2 or 3 grab bars in it with easy access for a handicapped person to reach everything. We had to have our bathroom remodeled I am grateful for it now that I live alone and have disabilities now.
I love , love love, your home ! How pretty,warm and functional ! I am looking forward to watching your family and animals grow. I am a grandma. I am also a retired nurse, Idid all kinds of nursing trying to have a schedule around my 4 children's school . I always wanted a small farm but my husband gave much of his free time to serving the Lord( for free) at our church. He still does even though he is in his 70's like me. He liked the idea of raising animals not even dogs, but the children did have a few dogs as they grew up. So your videos feed my love of animals , farm life and children !

I love your house,especially the mud room. It is so handy, love,love your old sink , , it’s good to design your house around when the kids are grown and gone. And that happens before you know it. It’s good to know you have a storm shelter. I believe other than Gary being such a good guy,he’s also Jack of all trades. God bless you all.I always wanted a wrap around porch,but never got it.

Your house is more accessible than my house and I've been paralyzed since 1982 ! We're looking to move and get a place that we can build into the perfect house ! At least as perfect as my budget allows... Lol

LOVE your home...my husband and I are planning to relocate from PA to OK in the next 5 years and start our homestead!! This is one of the best layouts I have seen. As we both have some medical issues it is so nice to see someone who has planned for the "what ifs" that may happen as you age or in case of an accident. Last year taught us a lot...our 21 year old daughter was in a serious head on collision, she is ok now, in a wheelchair, walker etc. for months and it broke my heart that she could not come home as our house was not accessible for her. We never want to go through something like that again....and especially not have a loved one be home to heal!!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. PS..as an adopted adult and one of 4 adopted siblings (all from different famililes) I really admire your devotion to bring attention to adoption!

We built our home in 1999.. It was my hubby, I and my father!! It took us a year that included blocking a basement, which we could only do about 2 hours a day cuz it got to warm and the mortar dried up.. Our house was thec3rd my father had built....he built my 2 brothers homes with them!!!

Love your house! You and Gary did a great job planning it out. I’d suggest an armoire for Ransom’s room. You can easily find one on Craig’s list or Nextdoor. Get one with a removable hanging bar. Use it for clothes now and later in he could always put a tv in it if he wanted. The only thing I’d add is a dog wash in the mud room. Our dogs get muddy feet and I’ve seen several homes that have one. It’s like a half size shower so you can rinse them off before they track mud into the house. I guess you could use it for muddy kids as well🤣

Your layout is fantastic! It is so spacious and love how you built it to serve your family and it's needs. The mudroom is such a great layout and I love how it attaches easily to the master bedroom closet! When we build I really want that since my husband goes to bed much earlier than I do and I can go into the master bath without waking him, and he can come in without me having to clean up after him all the way through the rest of the house. Great job, I think you planned perfect for a farmhouse!

Love your ranch home and also love how you made it handicapped accessible, I am one of those people and my townhouse is nothing accessible here. I also love love love your mud room sink and view as well as how large it is. Another thing I love about your home is the pantry , storage and all of your outdoor space. We are tweaking house plans right now, and yes asking lots of questions from friends.Futhermore, we are empty nesters and older so we are making provisions for that in our plans. Wheelchair accessible is so smart. It’s been over a year trying to figure out what we want as well. Love, love. Love the old farm sink. I am trying to find an older one. We are in Historic Guthrie, Oklahoma. A small ten acre plant based farm. Glad I found y’all! Looking forward to a new friendship! Love your master room with the book nook. Wendy❤️🐞

Wish new builds or add ons for schools or other public building could somehow incorporate safe storm areas in design though not have to be only storm shelters when not in use. This would be great for rebuilds in storm damaged areas. Should be discounts for insurance to include these structures in buildings.
Could you maybe do a video on design, material's of how you did storm shelter even if can't show actual build. It would be be great safety feature to be code to have a storm shelter/room of some kind in all new builds or additions in area where tornadoes or hurricanes can occur! I think it is great to be able to access by just either going into basement or ever better space in main level or garage without having to go outside to another structure!

Cassie, this just popped up on my feed. I never saw this video before. Your kitchen sink almost looks like Brooke's at coghill farm, and that old farmhouse sink in the mud room looks like one that Brooke found to put out on their porch for washing vegetables. I can't remember if yours was double sink but I think theirs is. But both remind me of my grandma's sink.
The kids look so young, lol. They grown so much in 2 years.
