Absolutely, such an amazing, underrated series with an absolutely perfect (or nearly perfect) last game, I've never seen such story telling before, this series is more shonen than shonen anime.

The Onimusha Trilogy that preceded it was going for a more Serious approach in story telling kind of like what Dino Crisis 1 was and Onimusha 4 to me feels Arcadey and this transition reminded me of Dino Crisis 2 but regardless I loved Onimusha 4 for what it was. A Arcadey Hack and Slash RPG. Regardless back in the day when I saw Jubei Yagyu I was confused since she wasn't the Jubei that I knew from Onimusha 2 but now I had grown to love her. She cares so much for Soki and the Ending still to this day leaves me with chills. Back in 2006 marked the end of the Franchise and I was still wanting more Onimusha in my life and as of from August 28th 2018 my life is now complete and I had been on numerous Petitions as of from 2006 requesting Onimusha to come back and finally in 2018 Capcom has finally listened. I just want a new generation of players to experience one of the greatest franchises of all time.

Monster Hunter World is amazing and RE7 was good but fell during its final parts. Sooo Idk. Even Street Fighter 5 is struggling because 2 be honest its just lame. Sooo they have Resident Evil 2 Remake in next and lol if any1 even gives a damn of more zombie games like Dead Rising after the crappy part 4 game they made.

@@MegaBondagemon It WAS fused into his arm for the first three games, but once you get an Ending (mainly the "secret ending") in Onimusha 3, Samanosuke can actually remove the gauntlet off his arm after he absorbed Nobunaga into it. I guess the Oni let him choose to whether keep guarding the gauntlet or just try to keep it away and he chose the first option?
Arguably the best game Capcom has to offer. I am saddened that they lost their ways to make quality games like this because they focus too much on the Western philosophy in making *games*!!!

Jubei is old, Samanosuke is Tenkai, and they would have just gone into Onimusha mode and fuck up Hideyoshi, then again, Tenkai was... technically weaker than back when he was a bit past his prime (aka, back on Onimusha 3 since he's like 40-something on that game)
I think In my personality opinion, that there not his biological kids but last remnants of his fallen home of yagyu destroyed by nobunaga in onimusha 2 and he adopted two brothers one being munenori and the other norimitsu the father of jubei (akane) yagyu
Yes. You can start with 5. The camera and movement are more friendly toward players compared to the previous sequels. Plus the deflect/counter mechanic in-game is great imo

This is probably due to copyright issue being that the OG Jubei was modeled after a real life actor.
