I agree. It's always good too to hear it because we can learn from each other's mistakes. Thank you for watching and commenting Nic I hope you're doing well up there.
Presidential Dollars the US Mint way over produced and same with the State Quarters. But the Presidential dollars the US mint was holding billions on their shelves that they couldn't move.. I did a video on it a couple years ago... That's the problem with most coins the US Mint produces.. Too much supply.
Yes unfortunately it was way over over produced. Same thing with the quarters and like you said a lot of the other coins. It just stung to have held them for as long as I did and then end up letting them go at face value It was like a savings account that lost money in terms of buying power. Thank you for watching and commenting Silver Wolverine.
Wow that's awesome fine because Ford I don't think was made for the public I think it was a not intended for circulation coin that was busted out of a set same with the 2021 so really great find. Thank you for watching and commenting eLem3nT. Keep in touch my friend I love hearing the cool stuff that people find.
Yeah unfortunately only opened up the years that had reported mistakes on the edges. I had kind of spread myself a little too thin thinking that silver was going to really have a big jump and it didn't happen as much as I'd hoped so but I still am convinced that it will at some point. Thank you so much for watching and commenting Alexis
Also, I got some change back from a metro card machine and I found a really interesting one dollar coin, can't remember off the top of my head which president, Madison maybe? But the luster is amazing, like proof mirror finish giving it a bright yellowish-gold tone to the entire coin. And the edges and some parts are silver-color. Easiest way to describe it is that it looks like a coin when the face edges are rubbed on a nard surface revealing the inner clad except there are no scuffs or marks whatsoever, in fact looks brand spanking new. Any ideas?
You could have something worth some money My first thoughts were it's just the new presidential dollar which would be nothing special a presidential dollar that someone had held and then finally just spent but my second thoughts are you have some sort of a mistake an error coin which could be worth some big money I don't know if you're on our discord but if you have discord I would look up tsquare talk take a few pictures of it and post them in there because there's a bunch of coin collectors that would know if you have something pretty special without seeing it would be too hard to know but with some photos it could make a big difference. Thank you so much for watching and commenting Hope you have a great day
Love your transparency and always look on the bright side, because you've held onto these you're still technically even money. I mean who knows what garbage crypto some nephew or cousin could've convinced you to invest in "the next Bitcoin!" that money into otherwise. 😂.
Yeah that's for sure They never took off. They were overprinted low quality and then they never even finished making the set for the public only if you were willing to buy direct from the men for a higher price. It was definitely a letdown for a coin. Thank you for watching and commenting Jimmy keep in touch my friend.
Ya, cash is trash, glad to see your into silver now, crypto has also treated me well, but ya clad coins? Not really worth much unless you find an error, i coin roll hunt but never invest coins that are 1965 or later...gl!
Yeah I still kind of like crypto but I love silver and gold. I think as of right now for this year I'm up $4,000 on my Sheba but I'm debating if I want to roll it all back in or pull out half. If I knew there was a pull back on cryptos coming I would wait and invest it back in crypto but they gave me they could just keep going higher and higher. Thank you for watching and commenting my friend Hope you have a great week
Yeah you're right I didn't take a loss but there ain't really many coin shops here well there's none really. So unfortunately I had to let a few boxes go I let three go and all I still got a couple though. They really didn't pan out and they probably won't. All I'm doing is holding a unclaimed check for the government. It was probably best I just cut them loose when I did. Thank you for watching and commenting Chris keep in touch my friend.
Yeah it happens can you imagine if I putting all that money into silver instead or gold even better looking at it right now back when I got those I think gold was only $1,000 an ounce instead of buying a box of them I could have bought 1 oz gold coins can you imagine the upside I would have today. Thank you for watching and commenting. Hope you have a great day

Thank you for sharing. I think its important to discuss the mistake we made. I know I have made my share of them.

Open them up and look for no marked edges!

Switch to Native American dollars. Much lower mintage and more attractive designs.
Oooooonga
