Awesome vid looks very cool. Yeah with the large converters i started placing girders along their length so i could attack things to the side of them. Only way i could make some of my mining craft workable.
I almost considered "common swift" as a name for an SSTO the other day, too. :) In the end, I went with Fulmar because the fulmar is a similarly stocky bird and hardly comes to land. My SSTO is short and chunky with 3.75m fuel tanks fore and aft. It's also long-range. An unintended point of correspondance between the bird and my SSTO is a certain difficulty coming in to roost. :) Fulmars only nest on cliffs, they won't even think about flat ground. My SSTO is not the easiest thing to fly when it comes down into an atmosphere. If it was smaller, I would call it Storm Petrel. The storm petrel even sleeps on the wing.
Trying to do some SSTO cargo stuff using KSPI-E nuclear Turbojets, was wondering if you have any experience using them and any advice. Haven't seen any recent tutorials on the mod with the more recent updates.
hello mark, i'm from brazil and i love ksp but i can't find the two engineering books from the ksp game that appear in your video, could you tell me where to buy them?
I see that your station has 2 cores and those cores are attached to each other in 2 spots. Can you explain a bit how is that possible inn KSP, as i understood it the vessel has to be tree-like
Soooo you got a refueling station in orbit and a asteroid miner, also there are 2 cargo ships... Its time for a fuel tug! Than you can refuel the station by the asteroid stations resources and dont need to spend much money on kerbin -> orbit launches
I'm actually flying with that same flight controller, Advanced FlyByWire bypasses the unity input system to pull joystick data directly and eliminates the lag: forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/85711-11-afbw-v17-beta-joystick-controller-mod/ Unfortunately it has not been recently maintained, so you have to put together from the forums or compile yourself. I'm in the process of making a mod I'm currently calling X52 Indicators. Hopefully in a week or two I'll at least have a windows version with a cross platform to follow. Primary goal of it will be to easily map modes like SAS/breaks/etc to lights and display the stage number among other things in the multifunction display. Secondary goal will be to expose it to Kerbal Operating System so I can blink lights from my scripts ;) Thanks for making so much great content, have a good one.
you are so coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
It's a software I made that helps me design rockets and SSTOs. Basically what it does is calculates dV readouts for different engines and fuel types. Works almost like Kerbal Engineer, just gives you more flexibility. Cheers!
Nice little Easter egg there on the desk mate! 😀
is that a real book? i cant find any of these Books online
?where
I wish you would upload more because ever episode is amazing and it sucks waiting forever the next episode
Zachary Rivera I agree, but it sounds like massive creations in KSP are pretty time consuming.
Yes what crowing said
Notification squad!
Edit: Where can I get those cool books?
Long awaited episode! Awesome book covers also, made me laugh so hard
You never fail to impress, Mark. How much time did you spend just on those book covers? I did a double take when I saw the authors names!
I'm not sure what you're talking about those are legit books :)
Where can I get them ;D
@@MarkThrimm Hahahaha nice! :D

Sweet...looking good...can't wait for the next one!
I hope you have a great day & be safe.
Thanks!
Pls keep doing this series I LOVE IT
You should do ssto s. p. more often!
I Love Those Book on 3:39 A lot of time you must spent on it.
Great video, keep up the great work. Looking forward to this new endeavor
13:22 _that departure gave me anxiety_
nice video. Could you make a video about how you are building complex SSTO spaceplanes like this one
I've already made 5 tutorial videos about that, so I'm not sure what else you'd like to know. Maybe check them out first? Cheers!

Keep up the good work, Mark! I love Your videos ☺
Thanks!
I quite like the idea of adding mods with no idea of what the parts do, requiring scientific testing of those parts.
hello mark, i'm from brazil and i love ksp but i can't find the two engineering books from the ksp game that appear in your video, could you tell me where to buy them?
Ohh an extra Video i hope its about Science :D
It's going to be about navigation, so you can technically say it's partly about science :)
awesome video dude, keep it up
Thank you :)
Amazing videos bud - you're english is extremely good btw - I'm curious where are you from? (what accent is that?)
Where did you find the toolbar for infernal robotics. I can place my robotic parts on my craft I just can't use them/ get them to work.
You need to download the parts pack and the core for the version you're using. This was recorded in 1.3, I don't know if the mod was updated to 1.4.
I've got that exact same flight stick
Why the backwards FAT-55 wings? Won't that reduce the lift force?
Not in KSP, wing orientation doesn't matter at all.
I see that your station has 2 cores and those cores are attached to each other in 2 spots. Can you explain a bit how is that possible inn KSP, as i understood it the vessel has to be tree-like
You can use docking ports or struts to make two point supports, but as you correctly pointed out, node connections can only have a single parent.

can you build a submarine can it do flying, swim underwater and go to space ?
What version of ksp are you using?
It's recorded in 1.3.
Woooooow I wish I were as good as you😮
I don’t get it! One video you have a million mods, the next you have none!
Yay ur back
Whats is the version of this game?
Could you make a video using the “kw rocketry” mod please🙏🏼.
Yay
LEGEND
6:50 Yeah, there's a ton of basic design decisions that defy logical comprehension in this game.
The best

And if you thought 5 stations was enough...
I have a nice Game that you could try buzz aldrin's space program manager
YEEEEEY
Amazing ;3
you are so coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
“Little B”, cute name🙂
Why do you have to play that depressing music?
неплохо
Could you explain a little bit about the stage mass and payload graph as in 2:00 please

spacex should hire you as engineer. you write into tour CV that you player KSP. 😂
I'm copying your ibea k
Now build a SSTO that you can build itself Into a space Station
If you don't pin this comment, I'll summon the Kraken to destroy all of your spaceships!
4th !! yeet
Xbox enhanced edition ftw
