T2T was second favourite of mine, mainly because warrior within's ending cutscene.. when the dark prince says " everything that is your's is rightfully mine.. and MINE it will be" back in my teenage days i was so hyped for T2T.. i was expecting more of past nad present time line but it was bit dissapointing but was fun.. the games after T2T were plain borefest
When I was playing this game for the first time, after fighting and killing Shahdee I went to the portal and after looking around I must have found a glitch or something, which allowed me to return to the same spot where we fought. The cutscene then played, which showed Kaileena and Shahdee arguing and then fighting, while Prince had turned into the Wraith. Since I still had the spider sword, there was no way for me to fight the enemies that came right after that, so I gave up and started the game all over again. I was confused as all hell, and was never able to recreate the conditions to it. But I sure did get spoiled against my will.
very interesting, you triggered one of the final cutscenes dark wraith cutscenes in the main hall! it gets triggered at the ledge near one of the passages that you can access by raising the pillars, apparently you werent supposed to be there at that time. Now im curious about this one, i think ill try recreating it myself
I do find it pretty trippy that there were others like me who just accidentally stumpled upon this just by trying to figure out where to head next in order to advance the plot. That just makes it nigh impossible for us to figure out the moment or the spot where the game broke on us. This hasn't happened to me with any other game.
I'm stuck at that one life upgrade bug (the chase scene with Dahaka) and I saved by the nearest possible saving room... I was stuck there because I couldn't go back since it was a one way route. I couldn't go forward because of that bug. But this door skipping technique helped me through my misery, THANK YOU

7:33 at first I went all the way from here to the mask and then zipped through a wall there (to avoid becoming sandwraith). Then I realised that zipping straight through this wall triggers the sandwraith cutscene but doesn't convert you to sandwraith!!
15:24 love that area. There are 2 life uogrades there at library and prison. Using zips its possible to get all 9 life upgrades and get water sw0rd bef0re the empress chapter. Tried, tested and pr0ven it
9:50 mine doesn't crash though.. I end up with the prince just having his head and sword rendered if I die here...no body..no legs..nothing..lol! I finally zipped, saved and became sand wraith. Anyways it was fun time for me after a long time.
The zipping at the throne room saved me in my old game. I have an old, pirated copy of this game and the problem with pirated copies is that after the first battle with Kaileena, you are teleported to the Beach and there's no Dahaka chase to the Catacombs. You can backtrack to the throne room but you cannot progress your game, unless you zip on that cracked wall and continue the game to the caves in the SandWraith chapter. NOTE: doing this zipping after the first Kaileena battle will allow you to skip the following chapters: dahaka chase in the catacombs, getting the Scorpion Sword in the prison (past), the prison chapter and the golem mini boss, the Library chapter and the two life upgrades there (one in prison and another on top of library...can be entered successful by zipping too) and backtracking to throne room via the mechanical tower. 5:16 this save is MANDATORY, you will die 100% when you enter the time portal. But if you save you will restart to that nearby save point and the time portal on the next area (caves) will load, ensuring progress 7:45 ... You need to be close to the door, press forward 18-20 times rapidly and zip, you'll just melt through the gate and teleport the next side. OPTIONAL...you can zip this way at the door in the left, but you'll not get the Mask but you can progress the game as the Prince (the only way to skip being a SandWraith) 9:38 ... No need to zip back to the save point, just kill yourself by jumping on the nearby hole/trap. You'll restart in the same place after the SandWraith cutscene but you'll be invisible (only the weapon is visible). You can continue and save before the Griffin boss battle, reload and you'll become a SandWraith again. If you don't kill yourself and progress after the SandWraith cutscene, the game will freeze before the Griffin boss battle 14:40 ... WTF, that's an exceptional zip! I tried this many, many times before but I've only successfully did that once or a couple of times only. However, there's NO NEED to do it and go to the mechanical tower unless you get the life upgrades there. Just continue the game in the garden until the dahaka throw the Prince to the deep well and the game progresses 15:14 ... You'll encounter falling upon stepping that platform if you go to the garden first rather than doing the mechanical tower first, the glitch happens sometimes, sometimes it's normal. You can zip from the save point to the locked door but the zip is quite challenging (might attempt many times) 15:26.... I usually do this to enter the library early in the game to get the life upgrades there. Its the only way to enter the library early, zip through that door. I usually get all 9 life upgrades before the first battle with Kaileena and the Water Sword is already available mid game. 16:12 no need to zip, you can run though the wall (need exact timing or you will fall) to reach the lower area
9:34 it happens if you zip through the gate t0wards the mask. No need to zip back to save pt; just jump in the spikes to get a game over... d0 not pr0ceed further because game will crash. I know another trick... remember when you first see Dhaka? yeah that's where you can have the greatest glitch of all time. When I was playing this game for the very first time, Dhaka hadn't appeared there.Yeah you heard me right dhaka hadn't appeared and I returned to that same way where I come from. You can try it, before dropping to that platform when Dhaka appeared for the first time just try going backwards and you will be sandwrath and you can finish the game in very quick way.First time,and like this,it was nearly impossible.
5 years ago I accidentally did this unknowingly and then i got bewildered. I didn't understand that who was that black guy (sand wrath)and i died several times. I knew i fucked the game and then the game fucked me up. I restarted the whole game and then i played it normally like a boss. 😁😁😎😎😎

I was like 9 years old, when i saw my dad playing this on ps2 and i was like WOW DAD WHAT IS THAT, CAN I PLAY TOO? I've played Sands Of Time, Warrior Within, The Two Thrones, Forgotten Sands and the 2008 version on my channel. I still like Warrior Within the most, but the art style and the ending of 2008 is also special to me. Also thanks for the compliment :D

You know what, I somehow gained the mask before the original timeline as well. And got stuck in somewhere in the shipyard caves because I did not have the wall-breaker sword. Back then I had no idea it was the wrong course as I didn't even finished the storyline once. I think I was lost in the hall where the prince "saved" Kaileena from Shahdee. And saved it at somewhere in some balcony there. I cannot recall further in detail but either the game glitched and made me the sandwraith for no reason or somehow I got into the mask room from there O_O
I don't recall the specifics, but there *is* a bug in the game where if you load from a specific savepoint (still during the time you have the spider sword) you might be turned into a sandwraith for no reason.
When the game is all about fucking with time in both gameplay and story, and you just go even beyond that. Anyways, some of us didn't even need that, since the game bugged and Sandwraith us after Shahdee. "... And you will have to fight those monsters as well... with spider sword. Thats... ?... impossible" proceeds to smack guard and lowering him to weak state LUL. 10/10 video.
I had a cracked version of this game. Believe me that was way more awesome. You could literally walk through the walls. i also one shotted kaileena!! that was fucking awesome!
One time I didn't have to do anything, cause in that hall when you meet Dahaka for the first time, game change Prince for that Sand monster, so after about 1 hour of playing, I was ready to finish the game.
Even though it might take you a while I got 7/9 upgrades and then did this and I had the sword Kaileena gives you after the Shadee fight. I have it right now. What I did was I looked at the Zipless European Speedrun True Ending and got the Life upgrades. Much slower but I did it. Now I just need to play as Sand Wraith to get the last 2. I'll go where you came at the end of this video to get the Scorpion sword then just play normally as Sand Wraith. But did you fought that big boss with the Spider Sword or did you zipped? You never showed that. And I dunno how should I zip. I'm on PS3 btw with a PS4 controller which sucks because Prince can move on his own because of the PS4 Analog stick which don't have as much space as the PS3 stick. Anyways how do I skip this fight? I have no Secondary weapon and the other sword I just mentioned that you get from Kaileena. That's the "Cursed" Sword she was talking about. I mean it's bad but it's better than the Spider Sword. Nothing cursed about it. Perhaps in the Remake they might make it a bit more cursed. Edit: Nvm I just did it. I rolled 3 times then blocked many times like we always do because it's easier than stepping 20 times. It's hard to count so I just wait until I feel it's right.
I had a weird glitch happen to me back in the day. I was in the same room that you start. I jumped across the gap but the prince somehow grabbed the ledge and fell the game lagged a bit and the prince died. When he came back the prince was in sand wraith. It was my first play trough and i was totally lost. I had to go back where you fight the black girl and the cut scene where you watch the fight from a distance played. I continued until the area in the cave where you have to destroy a wall.
My game has a deadly glitch wherein after fighting kaileena (empress chapter) the game continues at Beach Present and the dahaka chase do not trigger (in long way home) literally the game is stucked. Until i found this video and learned about zipping, used the guide and zipped at the thr0ne room. Thanks and my game progressed to sandwraith chapter. I finally was able to finish my game.

@@KapeeshPC if i had my own game studio i would remaster it with pleasure haha. But really this game is my whole life. I was like 9 years old, when i saw my dad playing this on ps2 and i was like WOW DAD WHAT IS THAT, CAN I PLAY TOO? He turned off the game cuz u know its kinda scary game especially for 9yo kid xD But, the next day when he was at work i started to play and when he came back to home and saw me sitting on a floor and having fun of this game, he was like OMG YOUR MOM WILL KILL ME XD Ah, i will never forget that xD Also i was in shock when i saw your teleport skills xD like what? but yeah its insane! Also your commentary is fun haha. I didnt even think twice before hitting the sub button lol. Btw, did u play Forgotten Sands maybe? Im really curious about it.
@@akizura2585 That's awesome :D I also saw my brother play this, so i was intrigued. I didn't fully understand the game at the time, but now that i am older i see the genius of it.
I've played Sands Of Time, Warrior Within, The Two Thrones, Forgotten Sands and the 2008 version on my channel. I still like Warrior Within the most, but the art style and the ending of 2008 is also special to me.

You know what, I somehow gained the mask before the original timeline as well. And got stuck in somewhere in the shipyard caves because I did not have the wall-breaker sword. Back then I had no idea it was the wrong course as I didn't even finished the storyline once.
I think I was lost in the hall where the prince "saved" Kaileena from Shahdee. And saved it at somewhere in some balcony there. I cannot recall further in detail but either the game glitched and made me the sandwraith for no reason or somehow I got into the mask room from there O_O
I don't recall the specifics, but there *is* a bug in the game where if you load from a specific savepoint (still during the time you have the spider sword) you might be turned into a sandwraith for no reason.
I so wanted my eagle sword back, it looked so cool

I do like it but i thought it was just funny to let him rant since it makes no sense story wise if you do the story the way that i did.

When the game is all about fucking with time in both gameplay and story, and you just go even beyond that.
Anyways, some of us didn't even need that, since the game bugged and Sandwraith us after Shahdee.

One time I didn't have to do anything, cause in that hall when you meet Dahaka for the first time, game change Prince for that Sand monster, so after about 1 hour of playing, I was ready to finish the game.
Damn after all these years this game still look so good.

Graphics still look nice. One of my all time favorites. Great game.
Even though it might take you a while I got 7/9 upgrades and then did this and I had the sword Kaileena gives you after the Shadee fight. I have it right now. What I did was I looked at the Zipless European Speedrun True Ending and got the Life upgrades. Much slower but I did it. Now I just need to play as Sand Wraith to get the last 2. I'll go where you came at the end of this video to get the Scorpion sword then just play normally as Sand Wraith. But did you fought that big boss with the Spider Sword or did you zipped? You never showed that. And I dunno how should I zip. I'm on PS3 btw with a PS4 controller which sucks because Prince can move on his own because of the PS4 Analog stick which don't have as much space as the PS3 stick. Anyways how do I skip this fight? I have no Secondary weapon and the other sword I just mentioned that you get from Kaileena. That's the "Cursed" Sword she was talking about. I mean it's bad but it's better than the Spider Sword. Nothing cursed about it. Perhaps in the Remake they might make it a bit more cursed.
Edit: Nvm I just did it. I rolled 3 times then blocked many times like we always do because it's easier than stepping 20 times. It's hard to count so I just wait until I feel it's right.

I had a weird glitch happen to me back in the day. I was in the same room that you start. I jumped across the gap but the prince somehow grabbed the ledge and fell the game lagged a bit and the prince died. When he came back the prince was in sand wraith. It was my first play trough and i was totally lost. I had to go back where you fight the black girl and the cut scene where you watch the fight from a distance played. I continued until the area in the cave where you have to destroy a wall.

My game has a deadly glitch wherein after fighting kaileena (empress chapter) the game continues at Beach Present and the dahaka chase do not trigger (in long way home) literally the game is stucked. Until i found this video and learned about zipping, used the guide and zipped at the thr0ne room. Thanks and my game progressed to sandwraith chapter. I finally was able to finish my game.
I try doing this glitch but everytime I rewind, nothing happens, he just stands where he was before, doesn't go through the door/wall

14:40 ... WTF, that's an exceptional zip! I tried this many, many times before but I've only successfully did that once or a couple of times only. However, there's NO NEED to do it and go to the mechanical tower unless you get the life upgrades there. Just continue the game in the garden until the dahaka throw the Prince to the deep well and the game progresses
That zip is very,very difficult. I love zipping but that long zip requires absolute precision to perform correctly
