Interesting seeing the DF7 being dragged with that freight train. I wonder if it's used for shunting at the destination, or if it's just a positioning move? The railways in China are fascinating, especially the size of all the structures compared to what we have in the UK! I went to Nanjing a few years ago and remember seeing the railway bridge over the Yangtze, and what looked like an old terminus station near it. Did you explore the city much?

I suspect it was a positioning move! It’s a really lovely city, was only there for a few days so didn’t get much chance to explore unfortunately.
