I thoroughly enjoyed the horse carriage ride up to the Castle. To not support the carriages is a sacrilegious suggestion! Folks DO NOT embrace her advice & enjoy the carriage rides guilt free! I highly recommend it!😊
If you care about the welfare of these animals then you won’t take the carriage ride up and you’ll get some exercise in by walking yourself up the hill.

Those amazing horses in NEUSCHWANSTEIN are strong, healthy & get their filled of loving exercise going up and down those hills. They are treated with love, care & much attention by the wonderful guys who take people up & down those hills & they’ve been doing it for centuries!!!! I suggest you educate yourself & stop pontificating rubbish on your channel as you very obviously know nothing about the physiology of strong work horses! As for exercising, I ride my horses vigorously and joyously. Walking up & down hills unnecessarily does NOT make you a fitter person, just a more ridiculous & pretentious creature!
People has died on that 3 spot so telling others how to go there is crazy even if you say "it's on your own risk"! I would recommend that you instead take the nearby tram up and walk down towards the castle and ending up on the bridge. There are several great wirspots of both castles on the way .
Any way to know or find an app to tell you the weather around the castle? Don't understand with this tourist trap why Germany didn't fix that second trial. I wonder just how many people have gotten hurt tripping over those roots. Great Video, so good, now we don't have to visit.
I am not sure on a great weather app. Also not sure why they closed it because it doesn’t seem like an unsafe view point to me. But I also grew up in the mountains in utah.
It’s kind of hard to give specific directions, but after you’ve been on the bridge and you are headed towards the castle there will be a barbed wire fence on your right. You’ll see a path where people have been going through the fence and that’s where you enter and then follow the path up the hill.
