    I just applied for this card over the weekend as a Sole Proprietor with Social Security Number. Originally got denied. I called for reconsideration and got approved. So moral of the story, don't give up! 120,000 of the most valuable point there are is pretty amazing. Now I just have to spend. One thing I did was cancel my escrow on my mortgage so that I can pay both my insurance and property taxes with my new card.

      What did the reconsideration call look like?

    • @jasonspain3554
      @jasonspain3554 Месяц назад

      @@loganlittrell945 I called the reconsideration number I got off of the r/churning wiki. I spoke to a representative and told them I just applied for the Ink Preferred card and was denied and I would like them to reconsider my application. I currently have an 800 credit score and less than 2% credit utilization. They put me on hold for a few minutes, then came back and asked me the year my business was started (probably verifying it matches the application). They put me on hold again and then came back and asked my yearly revenue and expected revenue this year. I told them I got a large project this year that needed additional equipment and was one of the reasons I was getting the card. They put me on hold again and then came back and said I was approved.

    People talk about the ink train with P2. What do you do with the account after a few years? Sock drawer or cancel? Assuming having too many ink cards open hurts your total available credit limit. Anyway, nobody explains what you do after. Any advice would be appreciated.

    • @nMeScArZz
      @nMeScArZz Месяц назад +2

      You can downgrade the ink preferred for you and your player 2 to a ink cash or ink unlimited and then cancel the original ink unlimited/cash you both got and run the train again for each of you with an ein number. Chase has parameters around how much credit they will extend to you so you’ll just have to churn cards over time to open up new ones.

    • @SpencerJohnsonOfficial
      @SpencerJohnsonOfficial  Месяц назад +1

      Scarz reponse below is pretty spot on. I've even heard you can get the same Ink card under the same EIN without product changing or cancelling the first one which is pretty wild (although I haven't confirmed with personal experience just yet). The Ink cards have a ton of upside.

    Congrats on getting approved for the Ink Preferred card! I think it is a great card, being that it is the business version of the CSP. There's nothing wrong with applying for it just for the signup bonus. It's a card that you could easily cancel after a year if you want to. That 120K welcome offer is great, and it's good that you'll be able to meet the spend requirement. I know at this point in time, it would be difficult for me to meet that spend requirement.

      Based on DPs I've heard on Reddit and through our Discord, you can get approved for multiple of the same ink cards under the same EIN as long as there's some space between them. I've never done this myself, but it sounds like it's possible based on their experience and the lack of welcome offer rules on that specifically.
