I was saying something similar to someone the other day. When I had my revolver I carried it all the time because it was so comfortable but my all steel 9mm is heavy and cumbersome so I rarely have it on me and that's a problem. A great belt and a good holster is a must for it! You have a solid EDC man! Its crazy to think you had to cut yourself loose in the accident. Most people dont have knives so they would have stuck there. I love the revolver holster! Never seen them do kydex like that before! That backpack of yours is pretty funky and doesn't scream tacti cool so nobody will think its got gear in it! Hope you have a great weekend Paul! Bushlite or Bushlight? 😅
Comfort is paramount in actually carrying gear, and concealing weapons. I carry the stuff that I do because I end up needing it daily, or in the case of the knife, only when I'm rolled over, hahahaha. The backpack color choices were certainly a decision to try and look less tactical. I like the vibrant look, and it's nondescript in its own way. Thanks for the kind words Johan! It's Busch Light, a crappy American beer. They were the sponsor for NASCAR, and Dale Earnhardt back in the 1990s. Enjoy your weekend my man!
It's not something that everyone is comfortable doing, which is totally understandable. I make it work, but it took years of testing to find a way to make it work for me. Thanks for commenting!
When I'm carrying without using my concealment belt, I'm just using a simple rigid leather belt from Wal-Mart. I'm generally using both belts, not just the leather one, but the leather one can support up to a 1911 in weight fairly well.
Lol I have a lifted wrangler 4dr rubicon and a new frontier pro4x. I also have a crosstrek sport lol I'm constantly getting sent lil vids and pics about me being a lesbian. I loveee my lil subaru and the jokes from my buddies
Only OEM factory Glock mags should be used in Glock pistols. All other brands, especially the Shield Arms mags are absolute junk. They are not worthy of self defense use. If you want 15 rounds, carry a Glock 19.
@@BanditApache-nd6lu I’ve extensively tested the Shield magazines that I’ve used in my 48 and the 43x that I own. I’ve crested over 14,000 rounds in the 48 exclusively using the Shield mags, and am on the way to 15,000. With anything, you need to vet it before relying on it. I have done that with the Shield mags. I have had malfunctions with the gun. I’ve had 13 so far. Putting it into math, that’s about 99.9990% reliability with the gun. I’ve personally seen as many malfunctions in G48s with Shield mags as I have without. When comparing the 48 to the 43x, the longer, heavier slide of the 48 seems to struggle a little more for reliable cycling than the 43x. Both guns (and most small autoloaders) require shorter maintenance intervals to keep them reliable. It’s just a part of understanding how to keep guns working.
Busch light great vid
Holy shit SUBBED I f-ing love this guy best writer in the business. One of the only people I actually ask their honest opinion
I recently started carrying the POM OC spray. I wanted an option in between hands and firearm. Thanks for sharing!!!
Awesome edc video

@@Paul_Whaley Thats true man... That Spyderco really came through for you haha! Yeah vibrant is clever! Busch Light it is! Have a great one bro!
Ultimate gray man with the Subaru. Throw in some Birkenstocks and you’re totally undercover.
Don’t forget the Ben & Jerry’s bumper sticker.
Nice edc setup. Bag’s definitely discreet. But I can’t see myself carrying in the gym! Maybe I’ll give it a try one day though! 😁

What brand of holster is that for the j-frame? Thanks.
It's a JM Custom Kydex AIWB. Been using it for the last year. Like everything from JMCK, it's made very well and has been a great performer.
Shoulder holster for suits.
As much as I'd love to make that work, it's just not great. Big and bulky, and you're tied to wearing your suit jacket.
@Paul_Whaley it's great for driving. I use to wear under a Hawaiian shirt or some other summer shirt.
Cool video! What’s the brand of the 442 holster? Bush Lite/ Dale Sr RIP
The AIWB/Belt 442 holster is a JM Custom Kydex one, and the pocket holster is the A Holster brand. Both are great, and I'd easily recommend them.
What belt do you use with belt loops for AIWB with

My brother in christ, you clicked on the 27 minute long video titled "Rambling About my EDC". You knew what you were getting into.
