I had a dog that had a very similar hunting technique.
He'd see a rabbit or something in the fields, and immediately start barking and running after it.
The funnier part is when we had a smarter dog or the same breed, called Casey. She would use stealth. Silently creeping up on the prey, for the other dog to ruin it, as soon as he saw that she had spotted something.
His name was Jerry, and I loved that dog.
Very loyal, kind, and dumb.
Got hit by a car on the road, because what's traffic to a dog?
I got hit by a van before, so I can't really blame him. The van wasn't going that fast, but I only didn't get seriously hurt by some devine intervention that saved me from getting bones broken...I walked it off after a few minutes. A bus driver stopped to ask if I was OK, and my fad yelled at me.
"I coulda told you lighting sticks on fire makes fire!"
there are tips i can say. there is a hot bar system, but it’s when you hold tab (i also set my inventory as tab) so all you do is tab. to set items in there you go in inventory and right click the black bag and add items to it, those items will be available when you hold tab and your bag is out in front of you
there’s a bunch more but it’s fun to figure out yourself

What really blows my mind that in my playthrough we crashed on the beach, had a whole different crashing scene and on another youtubers as well, I even restarted my game cuz of a bug and we ended up at the same beach, then after I watch these videos and everyone got a different crashing scene and beginning zone, crazy well done from the devs!

a good tip that the game doesn't tell you is that you can hold down the inventory button to access kind of A quick access to your backpack to pick weapons and stuff without opening without opening up the big menu hopefully that helps
Edit i also changed inventory from I to tab to make it much easier.

Please make a series out of this Glock. I am biased as I am a huge fan of the original game but IMO this is the best game I’ve ever played, despite some of the early access bugs. And I’m sure you’ve heard this by now but make nice with Virginia, the ballerina chick. She can become a companion that can dual wield a pistol and a shotgun at the same time with her 3 arms lol. It just takes time, patience and distance. When you see her just let her approach you, but don’t approach her. Imagine she’s a cat, she’ll come up to you for attention and when you give it to her she’ll run away. Eventually she’ll start bringing you gifts which is the sign it’s working. Pay attention to if she has anything in her hands when she approaches you. If she does you’re very close to making friends, although it’ll probably take longer than normal after that spear to the head lol. At least you saw the revive prompt and stopped your attack lol. Woodle put multiple arrows into her head as she was pleading for mercy on the ground. Once she’s dead she’s dead, so if you want her in game be nice ;)

there is no hot bar in Sons / a way to bind items to a key. while you are in the inventory select the backpack and assign items to it . then you just hold "i" or in your case "tab" and you can quick select items on your pack .

I already know it likely won't happen, but it would make my Year to see a play through series of this. I'm loving this game for myself almost as much as 7 Days, and that's how I found your channel to begin with, so I was actually really hoping you would do a play through series of this game!
I'm liking it so far, not a ton of time invested yet due to work. I see why they went early access, some bugs with gates, I feel like the building has been trimmed down or perhaps some things being held off on until ready to go live. Overall though it's been a lot of fun. Even better watching some of my fave folks experiencing it.
Glock9 was the only person playing this game on yt to open the emergency pack immediately.

Glocks narration is unparalleled
Its alice in wonderland that is based off of the fly amanita. The mushrooms are actually nicknamed "the beserker" mushroom. Apparently when you take the white spots off and eat it, it sends people through a trip that apparently makes people kinda hulk out 🤣. Thats what my friend says at least, and hes been picking mushrooms for about 30 years.
