So Dodger's sister-in-law lives on the farm with Sam and Clark and all the animals... and she's inviting Sips to move there and manage the farm.. Is Doogs starting a cult compound?
as someone who grew up watching all of Co-Optional and some of the TGS podcast, these are so refreshing and reminds me of a simpler time on the internet. thanks for doing this podcast
Jesse sitting there tiredly and in silence with his wrecked voice just listening to Dodger and Sips talk about tortoises is so funny to me for some reason.
His stunned silent headshake of disbelief basically saying 'the hell am i a part of' with both that and the farming chat is fantastic, Mans' just lost on his own podcast.
I love how Jesse tries to derail the tortoise conversation, and Sips immediately brings it back on track with "what was the second ones name? Salvatore?" 10/10 😅
For whatever reason when there is a moment of pause and Sips just says "You're all well I trust?" it made me laugh out loud. Love Sips, hope he is on Geekenders often
I think I've commented this every time, but I love the fact that you guys got back together for a podcast! The Co-optional podcast got me through college and my EMT program, and now the Geekenders are getting me through rough weekends on as a paramedic!
sips meeting tb for the first time was hilarious... i forget what video it was, but i think it involved fighting giant bug monsters, and sips begging tb to say his name lol...
i really like how you've ironed out the format so fast, timestamps are also fun to look at even though i rarely use them to skip as just a way to see whats coming up next. great podcast guys. i have tried watching it live but my time doesnt line up so i watch it from the start here instead of the last 30 minutes or w/e. keep it up!
I love that I started to realize the colors of Jesse and Dodger's walls were similar, and RIGHT BEFORE I was about to remark on it aloud to myself, Jesse brings it up. Something in that moment triggers a natural connection of neurons that bridges that specific gap
@@impuseuser Funnily enough I found out about TB, Jesse and Dodger through Simon back in the day because I was randomly recommended the TGS podcast episode where he was the guest from a Yogscast video! After that I was hooked on the podcast, and the co-optional podcast after that!
This was a flawless episode. Truly encapsulated the feel of just lounging with friends as they geek out on a weekend. From tortoises, horror games, to David Lynch and World of Warcraft. Vibes.
Having a good laugh with these podcasts like it's 2013 and I'm in my late 20's instead of late 30's. It feels like the millennial version of Cheers to have the gang back together and talking again.
I can't keep up with Streams of all my favourite creators so I've just not been able to watch Sips much lately, this is SUCH a lovely, unexpected surprise!! We love the real guy, the best guy!
I feel incredibly nostalgic rn hearing you guys and sips together again. This is gonna be good listening while i press a for an hour in harvest moon 64 to lvl tools...
This is what I have a wanted for so long. Such a good podcast. Please keep geekenders going. Absolutely love you guys and the content that has been put out throughout the years ❤
Awesome as usual. And Jesse recommanding Are you the one :)) I remember Him and Crendor talking about it on Cox and Crendor was one of the funniest pods EVER. That and Crendor describing 50 Shades of Grey.
I can't stand reality TV, but back in the early 2000s, here in the UK, at the height of Big Brother's popularity, there was a show called Bedsitcom, where supposed premise was it was something like five people just living an apartment together for however long, but the _actual_ premise, known to the viewer but not the contestants, was that one (maybe two, I forget) of the housemates was straight-up an actor pretending to be a contestant, and each iteration would wind up with some bizarre situation that the actor was in on, it was so good. I think it only had one or two series (on reflection, the format could only ever have a limited shelf life before people caught on), but they got through like five different groups of housemates in a series, with this one actor in all of them :D
I am so very happy that this has returned. When I first watched co optional I was a student in early highschool, I now work 12 hour days 6-7 days a week. I never watched much dodger or Jesse content, I was a fan of TB's style. But the comradery and friendship made me a massive fan of your personalities if not your style of content. Thank you for once again sharing your wonderful friendship with the world. All love to you both.
So many of Dodger's youtube recommendations are things I've also had recommended to me, but not bothered to watch. Interesting to see that youtube thinks our tastes are so similar.
I feel bad getting to these so late, but it's because I want to make sure nothing's gonna interrupt and I can focus. It's just been that good and soothing. And we're only a few episodes in!
Jesse I used to listen to you almost daily back in the omfgcata days. I think you were the first real youtuber I got into? Either way its been a blast rediscovering you after all this time. Keep it coming.
Just binged through all the episodes and I'll be keeping up from now on. Was a loyal follower of Co-Optional back in the day and this was just the exact podcast I needed at this exact point in time. How did you know?
Jesse, nostalgia aside, this is actually a good podcast in and of itself. Fun interesting people with good chemistry, talking about geeky things and life in general (as someone not from the West, I find life anecdotes just as interesting). The show works, and you do a good job with it. Please keep it up. Re: Remedy-verse. Your mention of Control brought back a memory that hit me like a truck. An old TV mini-series The Lost Room (2006) did the "mundane objects with weird powers" thing way before it became Control. If you haven't seen it, check it out - it's short and sweet.
19:59 Congrats for finishing BG3 Jesse! I just started my BG1EE playthrough and I've already put in more hours than Jesse did. The game looks dated, but the gameplay options are fun and worldbuilding is great. Hopefully by the time I finish BG2, a definitive edition for BG3 gets announced, I'm definitely taking my time with the BG series.
44:20 "It's always this messy. There's no body parts back there I think... I'm pretty sure there's none back there. At least probably..." That's super reassuring to hear, Sips :D
1:06:12 Jesse and Crendor cover this season in episodes 145-146 of Cox N Crendor, FYI Sips was a fantastic guest, great convos throughout the episode. Wish I had twenty more episodes of this show to listen to right now
Jesse, from what i understand, Allan wake finale draft is materially different enough to warrant your play through, i play it as we speak and I'm CONVINCED you'll love it!!!! I can't wait to see you play it!!!
Sips switching from dirt to grass and trees feels like more character development that activision blizzard wrote in the past decade. I'm proud of you dad
I love how Jesse had 4 big topics he wanted to talk about and they have done one of them before getting sidetracked to other progressively crazier and crazier topics.
and to be fair, that ONE topic they covered was already ranted about in Cox N Crendor! and sips is KNOWN for having watched a lot of shitty reality tv lol
you have no idea how happy this series makes me
Same here. Throwback. Ps S&S is best
Yooo! I love the vibe in your content!
You better watch out - you might be on it yourself

I was going to say this but they kept talking about even more insane stuff lol
Cult of the Lamb style, they even talked about eating your own number two. Reality is stranger than fiction.
Starting?
I love how Dodger and Sips were all about farms and camping and animals while Jesse is the classic LA dude losing his mind
as someone who grew up watching all of Co-Optional and some of the TGS podcast, these are so refreshing and reminds me of a simpler time on the internet. thanks for doing this podcast
Love the moments when Cox removes his glasses to rub his temples
Is WAY better than facepalming.
Jesse sitting there tiredly and in silence with his wrecked voice just listening to Dodger and Sips talk about tortoises is so funny to me for some reason.

😂😂😂😂

Sips has a bit of that Norm Macdonald vibe in him :D
This podcast is like a time portal to 2013 and I’m all here for it. Love you guys!

Jesse giving off TB vibes quietly watching and reacting to dodger geek out about animals and then being crotchety. Nostalgic.
sips meeting tb for the first time was hilarious... i forget what video it was, but i think it involved fighting giant bug monsters, and sips begging tb to say his name lol...
There's something magical about Sips because I can listen to his dad rants infinitely. This was a great episode!
I could listen to Dodger and Sips talk about animals all day.
This podcast is just so "feel good". Its cozy ☺️
Sips laugh is so infectious 😂 makes me crack up every time 😂
This is the only podcast that I'll sit through all 2 hours in a single sitting right now.
Jesse I know you're a busy man, but I am vibrating with anticipation for this to get on podcast feeds so I can get nostalgia-blasted at work.
DUDE! Spoiler finger brought me way back to the old days. Hit me right in the feels. Good times.
The first 15 minutes of this episode brought me back a decade to the intelligible starts of Co-Optionals, hoooooooly.
Not gonna lie, I choked up a little when the Spoiler Finger went up. Really took me back to the early days of the TGS Podcast.
in a short 3 weeks you guys have managed to increase the amount of proper episodes by 300% which is very impressive

When you guys were talking about turtles all I could think about was TB saying ((we occasionally talk about video games))
what is this, a crossover episode!? 🦮

The only facecam of sips in the whole month of December 😂
Seeing this pop up took me back to when Sips was the guest one week on the co-optional podcast and i was super hyped.
Talk about worlds colliding.

THIS is a dream come true, so glad you guys invited Sips to podcast xD
I saw it was sips this week and screamed like a little girl😂😂😂
The gain from Sips' mic compared to Dodger/Jesse, reminds me of ye olden days of Toaster mic. Toaster mic 2023.
I never clicked on a video so far before in my life. I love this podcast, but having Sips on it is so amazing 11/10
Glad you got the sign Jesse! I remember hearing you awhile back saying you wanted the Lizzie’s sign. It’s a great piece
Sips is that one substitute teacher that's chill initially but at the end of the lesson gives twice as much homework as your regular strict teacher
Thanks for This. This is my feelgood Podcast now.

I didn't know how much I missed Sips I love this series so much.
Jesse's reaction to the Cattle pass was incredible
This is such a balmn to the soul. Have missed this and RollPlay.
I am living for Jesse's face as we finally leave Tortoise Talk and now we are somehow in a Tractors Are Expensive discussion
God I love Sips!
Never expected this crossover. Couldn’t think of a better guest for Ep 3.
Although I think Sips was a guest on TGS/CoOptional?
Multiple times too I think! His chemistry with them has always been so great 🥲
Jesse and Snips played Sniper Elite 4, has like 8+1 parts and was a very entertaining watch

Holy moly, I haven't seen Sips on the podcast since Cooptional (or even before) and he's got grey hair now!
1:04:12 That is The Mole. What Dodger's describing is literally the premise of The Mole, which was a reality show from 2001.
I watched this episode in full twice since yesterday. Once as I went to sleep and once for a 2 hour drive.
2:06 on the first episode i had the question are they oth recording in the same room? Glad it's all cleared out.
