@@howiebarrett8624 I put the video in an editing program. Final Cut Pro. In the program I made 3 layers of the same video. One layer with the audio and left pumpkin only showing. 2nd layer with middle pumpkin showing only. 3rd layer with right pumpkin only showing. In the program, I moved each pumpkin where I needed it to be.
this is wonderful! Something I think I will try since here in the west coast this is what the typical house looks like so this setup would work perfect for us! Great job! Can you reveal how you're hiding all the projectors? Thanks!
Thank you so much! I timed and edited everything in Final Cut Pro and projectors are hiding behind the “wall” of tape and boxes I used to keep people out of the driveway. Happy decorating!
Looks great! I am just starting out on this technology. This year, I am doing a simple rear screen projection in the window of my unused front bedroom. I'd like to do a front screen projection but concerned my projectors may walk away. How do you prevent your projectors from being stolen? Also, how do you power up everything and get initially in-sync? Manually or automatic? I am currently using an IR Blaster to start/stop my single projector.
That’s awesome you are starting this style of decor. It is a fun and rewarding one. Also, a lot of work. I don’t walk far from my house, keeping an eye on my projectors. We are also lucky we have enough people (witnesses) walking around, decreasing temptations. I edited in Final Cut Pro, all together in multiple video layers. I then separated the video layers to new videos. When ready, I pushed play at the same time and the videos repeat. Only one projector is hooked up to an audio receiver for speakers. Extension cord coming from the garage with an outdoor splitter. Have fun with your future projects!
@@shaunnavarra3395 You can't keep an eye on things or have "witnesses" around 24/7. So you don't somehow secure (or leash) your projectors to the ground or house or other fixed object? Living in a planned subdivision w/ houses 20' apart, I don't really trust those "just walking by" (mainly the kids). I have had a small $20 Xmas color light projector disappear one night a couple years ago. Instead of Final Cut Pro, I currently use Pinnacle Studio and Filmora (depending on what I am doing) to edit various vacation and wedding videos. They are both good video editing tools. You stated you "When ready, I pushed play at the same time and the videos repeat." You don't use a Raspberry Pi or some other tool to sync your videos? Or is this a nightly manual process of starting the projectors and using a single remote, start each projector's show simultaneously? TIA
Thank you so much. My projector is no longer available but it is 6500 lumens. Make sure lumens are high. I also had to get a short throw due to the short distance to the garage. Good luck and have fun!
@@edgarito23able I use hdmi media players. You can get it on Amazon for around $40 each. I make sure I edit, in Final Cut Pro, the different videos so they are synced. Then I save each video on different media players. When it’s time, I use just one remote(as long as the media players are the same, the remote signal will be the same) and push play. They all will play at the same time. Practice your projections and syncing on the wall before Halloween. Good luck!
How did you get the pumpkins to stagger ( top-middle higher)? Also, what size screen did you use for the garage and was your projector inside or outside? It looks more than amazing dude, it looks AWESOME!!!!!👊🏽

@@shaunnavarra3395i did the garage setup but my projection did not look as clear as yours. Used $100 amazon one.. Question For next time, Is short throw the difference or its got have high lumens?
Your welcome! I’m glad it helped! I used a short throw high lumens projector on the garage. The $100 projectors can only handle the pumpkins and single ghost. (Smaller and closer objects)
How do you get the flying ghost ont he garage video transparent? It has a black background and I can't figure out how to remove it so I can put a background like you did.
I edited the video in Final Cut Pro. You can Chroma Key the black out of it or go to Blend Mode and select add or Screen. I think I might have bought it WITH the background though. Good luck and have fun!
