- Hi there. And welcome to our 1:72 scale series of diecast reviews. These will be a little different to our regular larger scale military vehicle reviews with a slightly shorter and altered format than normal. Thanks again for dropping past and if you enjoyed the video why not throw us a like and even feel free to subscribe @heavymetaldiecast to keep up to date with all our releases of all sorts of diecast cars, aircraft and military vehicles!
Today's example is from Dragon Armor. It is 1:72nd scale and made of diecast with plastic accessories. A great rendition of the behemoth German World War 2 heavy tank the Tiger II, from heavy tank battalion 501 in Ardennes during 1944.
Thanks again for taking the time to check out the video.
Cheers

Now that - is superb!!!!
Yep definitely a classy model!!!
I always preferred the look of the Porsche turret
Yes these turrets do look nice, but the curved mantlet bottom could also deflect rounds down to the thinner top armor of the chassis. Same issue with early Panthers. They only used the turrets from the Porsche chassis because Krupp made 50 of them then Porsches design was cancelled in favour of the Henschel's chassis. Instead of scrapping the turrets they threw them on the first 50 Tiger II's that were made. Thanks for watching!!
@@heavymetaldiecast Yep I’m aware of the shot trap on the Porche turret
Fabulous model , dragon do some great work on their models, very realistic for the scale,
Yeah its crazy how good they are for such small models!! I had been hesitant about 1:72 armour as I mainly collected it in 1:43 as they were nice and big, but these Dragon Armor 1:72 scale models have some really super detail. Thaks as always for dropping past!!
Um dos melhores é mais bonito tanque alemão! Modelo incrível🌟
For sure. These were great looking machine's!! Thanks for watching!!
beautiful Tiger 2 I have it but from angostini
The DeAgostini ones aren't bad either, we did a review on theirs first.
Grazuolis Tigras II... I just saw one in the ad, and only for 20eur. Now I'm thinking if I need it
They are a nice build. I have been very happy with the Dragon Armor models I have opened so far!! Thanks for watching!!
🐯
Got to love a big cat!!! Thanks for watching!!
@@heavymetaldiecast I couldn’t think of anything interesting to say this time but wanted to leave you a comment for the algorithm 🤣
Keep up the great work bro 👏
@@shinra2755 you could have just said tha, haha. I don't have any understanding of the RUclips algorithm. I'll just continue to hopefully put out videos that are useful to fellow collectors. Thanks as always for supporting the channel!!!
@@heavymetaldiecast The more comments the better the video does, in theory at least.
I’ll always try and say something below your videos if I can think of something. You do such great content, so it’s worth doing.
@@shinra2755 Ah man thanks for the kind words, really appreciate that. I will keep doing these until I either stop breathing or run out of money, whichever comes first, its a pretty even race at the moment, haha
Tanks in 1/ 72 are just to small .
Yes they can be a little small, wait until you see how small a sdkfz 222 is,haha. Its why I originally started collecting armour/vehicles in 1:43 scale, but fell down the 1:72 rabbit hole when just buying a couple to sit with my aircraft....and now oh well, haha. Thanks for watching!!
