Definitely enjoyed this discussion! So many awesome points were made, and something I had never thought about was God doesn't always get what he wants either. So the next time I pray about something and the answer is no, I am going to remember that and just thank God. Because I know whatever the reason was for the no, it was because He knows better than I do, and I trust Him that He is over my life. Thank you guys. I love your podcast, and just hearing the wisdom you all have. I pray you have a great rest of the week, and God bless.

Daniel prayed at his open window, facing or looking toward the east, Jerusalem.
I pray in the early morning standing at & looking out my window at the peaceful darkness. Prayer is prayer in any position or duration of time, but must always be done with reverence to God. ❤️✝️❤️

Love your guys' podcast. Unfortunately, it's so hard to find content online that's aimed at providing level-headed guidance and discussions based on faith. Found your podcast a few months ago, but have been actively listening over the past few weeks. What you guys have talked about in your podcasts has really helped me to self-analyze areas of my faith that have been lacking over the past year. I appreciate you guys and your weekly uploads. Lots of love from Eastern Canada.

A question that has always been on my mind regarding prayer is, how do you have 'conversations,' as you put it, with someone who doesn't actively speak back? To draw off of your comparison of a phone call with a loved one -- calling just to talk and not to ask for favors -- for me, oftentimes prayer just feels like constantly leaving messages on someone's answering machine and never hearing back. Don't mistake my question, I agree with what this episode teaches. We _should_ be in prayer always, and not just to ask for things, but to give thanks and give our love. I am simply asking about how to process the frequent feeling of trying to converse with and love someone who doesn't audibly answer back?

When tragedy strikes one of the first thing we say is "oh my God"!" There is a quote that goes there are no Atheists in fox holes".

Please pray for the child sex slaves. Pray for their escape and strength to fight for their lives. Pray they escape their abuse and ide tify their abusers. Sexual exploitation is worse than the pandemic it should be making headlines. We need as many prayers and cares as possible innocent lives depend on it.

Most CoC's say that supernatural healing is not possible. Why then do they pray for healing? Why do they pray for any kind of intervention when they believe there are no supernatural interventions today. They talk out of two sides of their own mouth. They claim that they can't pray "thy kingdom come" because they believe the kingdom has already come. How can you pray part of the Lord's prayer and leave out what you choose?

I hate the fact that you have to pray to God in order to get into heaven or something. Why praise a killer? He needs to be judged himself .
