have you considered talking to a Professor who doesn't already agree with the conclusions that you have reached? part of the reason I come to your channel is because I am an atheist and I don't want to just listen to sources that I already agree with. if you get the opportunity to talk with a non-religious or even openly atheist professor I think that would make for a very interesting video.
With you being an atheist let me ask you a serious question....do you truly believe this universe, as complex as it is, happened by chance (all on it's own) with no design or intelligence behind it?....the law of thermodynamics states that everything deteriorates & breaks down instead of evolving into something better so reality does not fit with the narratives of some of science.

For all the scientific evidence the professor used to support his position you may as well have asked a bricklayer or a baker. Again you seem to be aiming these videos at the religious, rather than atheists. Most of the "answers" here boil down to "because the Bible says so" which doesn't really compute for us atheists.

He explains radiometric, but if you delve into carbon and the other forms of dating, those aren’t reliable either. One question I have regarding earth age and dating methods is how can you rely on carbon dating if the atmosphere hasn’t “equalized”? Carbon 14 equalizes in the atmosphere after 30,000 years and we’re still seeing a rate of decay every year. No equilibrium to be found. Not to mention C-14 dating cannot date past 40,000 years in the first place. It’s fine and all to question science from a book, but did you ever stop to question our methods of dating? Even the lava dome from mount Saint Helens recently dated ranged from 340,000 to 3 million years old... As for me personally-a book fulfilling 230 prophecies (not to mention the book of Daniel being so jaw droppingly perplexing that scholars and historians were astounded), having modern science in BCE before anyone believed it (speaks of gravity and the earth being round, the health and life of the body relating to the blood, etc), and claimed by any historian worth their salt as the most reliable history book ever made: I’ll have to accept that any truth I read in the Bible as the word of God until I see it proved wrong. Dont worry, I'll answer it for you. The bible says god created everything. So he created us and apes and that's why we have similar portions of DNA to apes.
The age question is very simple. God made everything at age. Adam and Eve were adults not babies when born just like everything including the stars which were spread out from Earth.
So... Essentially his defense for his belief is: "The bible says so. Therefore, I start with the bible as being true. And now, I have to find out how to fit the evidence in there..." Yes, if you start assuming that the earth MUST be 6000 years old, you can make up any explanation to explain away evidence that contradicts it. Like, e.g. claiming that radioactive decay could have been different, even though that would break a number of natural laws and there is no evidence for it. Here is my point: If you do that, you could also prove that the earth is 200 years old. Or 50 years old. I promise you, you won't be able to provide evidence that the earth isn't only 50 years old... given that I'm allowed to make up speculative principles to explain anything that doesn't fit, like your good guest here does.

It's fascinating that a well spoken and undeniably clever man has such weird view points. He really believes what he is saying. In the end he just has obscure theories, but no evidence. So I stick with the evidence we have. And that doesn't confirm his theories.

Thanks Travis yes I admit it looks hypocritical to still upload videos engaging atheists. But I'm just doing it for my friends and contacts who have a greater desire to reach atheists but I feel that I'm best at sticking to children's work and rapport building street preaching which I am much better at than debunking atheists arguments. From my understanding The Dinosaurs where created with the Rest of the Animals and after sin some animals including dinosaurs become carnivores. The word Dinosaur wasn’t a thing back then so the word they most likely used to call them was Dragon. And The dinosaurs where one of many Animals that died and where fossilized in the great flood There is a Man called Ken Ham that researches about a lot of this and I definitely recommend giving him a listen as to how important genesis is. That was quite possibly the weakest argument against uranium/lead dating I've heard. At least I got confirmation that he thinks it is possible that decay rates could have changed. This is technically impossible without redefining what a second is (decay rates are so precise that we actually define a second as 9192631770 periods of radiation from the cesium 133 atom). To the second point and third point: Of course there could be external factors that muddle the test, but to say ALL of the tests that have been done are wrong is just...crazy.

I have to take issue with your response to why other religions exist and why we should believe you over them. Your response was nothing more than begging the question. You said that Christianity is unique among religions(which is both incorrect and irrelevant) because God came down as Jesus, performed miracles, and died for our sins. This is precisely the claim we are asking you to justify. The question is WHY should we believe your religious story over all others, and all you did was give us a summary of what your story says. You also gave us the teleological argument, and asked what we'd think if we saw a sand castle on the beach. I agree, I would immediately assume it was the product of intelligent agency. Do you know why most people would infer design? Because all the evidence we have of castle shaped piles of sand have come from humans. We have 0 examples of these arising naturally. You are trying to exploit the human tendency to infer design, and claim that it's the complexity that allows us to reasonably assume design. The difference between a sand castle and the UNIVERSE, is that we only have evidence of one being the result of an intelligence. First you need to provide some actual evidence that there even is an intelligence capable of designing a universe.

No Christianity is not unique. The followrs of Hunduism make exactly the same claim about Kirshna. Every religeon has alledged Mircalces. Every religeon has its Martyers. Every religeon by definition has survived the death of its founder. Though not that really Paul, not Jesus was the founder of Christianity. 4. The Buddhist answer to is buddha dead or alive would be "neither, he has achieved Nibbana" which to buddhists is the ultimate goal. this goes to the problem that the professors argument is assuming Christianity is true and then using that to conclucde that chritianity is best religeon. If you assumed Buddhism was ture, then it would similarly follow that buddhism is the best religeon.. 5. Darwin was not a religious figure. Claiming he was is disenginious. 6. Daniel lived about 600 years before Jesus was born but made very specific predictions about Christ, his life, death and resurrection.

You cannot "debunk" an atheist. An atheist is somebody who does not believe in the existence of a god or gods, due to the complete lack of evidence. You can't debunk a lack of belief. You can change the mind of an atheist, simply by providing evidence that your god exists.
This man, even though he may be educated, has not matured past his indoctrinated, special pleading theistic bias but can with a straight face say " thats how god makes things"...he could have gotten a sunday school teacher to answer this and it would have been more entertaining. Thanks Travis yes I admit it looks hypocritical to still upload videos engaging atheists. But I'm just doing it for my friends and contacts who have a greater desire to reach atheists but I feel that I'm best at sticking to children's work and rapport building street preaching which I am much better at than debunking atheists arguments. As for the cosmic Skeptic video I deleted it for the very reasons were talking about even though it was one of my most viewed videos. The other reason was I didn't like my tone and thought it was a discredit to the Lord Jesus

From my understanding The Dinosaurs where created with the Rest of the Animals and after sin some animals including dinosaurs become carnivores. The word Dinosaur wasn’t a thing back then so the word they most likely used to call them was Dragon. And The dinosaurs where one of many Animals that died and where fossilized in the great flood

Calling someone worthless because they didn't provide an adequate amount of information for you is your problem- not theirs. If you really want to know if God is real or not, you simply have to humble yourself and call out to Him. "Jesus, show me that you're real" thats all it takes. The man made several claims which atheists can investigate themselves with the time and resources they have, instead spending it on youtube complaining about brevity.

That was quite possibly the weakest argument against uranium/lead dating I've heard. At least I got confirmation that he thinks it is possible that decay rates could have changed. This is technically impossible without redefining what a second is (decay rates are so precise that we actually define a second as 9192631770 periods of radiation from the cesium 133 atom). To the second point and third point: Of course there could be external factors that muddle the test, but to say ALL of the tests that have been done are wrong is just...crazy.

So basically to the question where dinosaurs fit in, he just said how God can miraculously create things instantaneously, and bla bla...He just made every assumption without any factual or experimental proof of anything he said. How does that answer atheist any of the question for which they are atheists?

I have to take issue with your response to why other religions exist and why we should believe you over them. Your response was nothing more than begging the question. You said that Christianity is unique among religions(which is both incorrect and irrelevant) because God came down as Jesus, performed miracles, and died for our sins. This is precisely the claim we are asking you to justify. The question is WHY should we believe your religious story over all others, and all you did was give us a summary of what your story says.
You also gave us the teleological argument, and asked what we'd think if we saw a sand castle on the beach. I agree, I would immediately assume it was the product of intelligent agency. Do you know why most people would infer design? Because all the evidence we have of castle shaped piles of sand have come from humans. We have 0 examples of these arising naturally. You are trying to exploit the human tendency to infer design, and claim that it's the complexity that allows us to reasonably assume design. The difference between a sand castle and the UNIVERSE, is that we only have evidence of one being the result of an intelligence. First you need to provide some actual evidence that there even is an intelligence capable of designing a universe.

I'll only addrss the answe to my question at the 9 minute mark.
1. Pirahã peoplke in the Amazon are an example of a tribe that has no gods. We also have Confussionism which is atheistic. I myself was never indoctinated into a religeon. I have looked at multiple religeons and even tried to pratice them and concluded that there are no gods.
2. The finetuning argument as been debunked many many timees, this part of the reply does not fly either. And the Earths distance from the sun varies by 5 million km throught the year.
3. No Christianity is not unique. The followrs of Hunduism make exactly the same claim about Kirshna. Every religeon has alledged Mircalces. Every religeon has its Martyers. Every religeon by definition has survived the death of its founder. Though not that really Paul, not Jesus was the founder of Christianity.
4. The Buddhist answer to is buddha dead or alive would be "neither, he has achieved Nibbana" which to buddhists is the ultimate goal. this goes to the problem that the professors argument is assuming Christianity is true and then using that to conclucde that chritianity is best religeon. If you assumed Buddhism was ture, then it would similarly follow that buddhism is the best religeon..

You cannot "debunk" an atheist.
An atheist is somebody who does not believe in the existence of a god or gods, due to the complete lack of evidence.
You can't debunk a lack of belief.
You can change the mind of an atheist, simply by providing evidence that your god exists.
This man, even though he may be educated, has not matured past his indoctrinated, special pleading theistic bias but can with a straight face say " thats how god makes things"...he could have gotten a sunday school teacher to answer this and it would have been more entertaining.
