Nothing has been said about Wasteland being cancelled. It just... isn't in production, and neither Fury Road nor Furiosa were profitable. If I was WB, I wouldn't want to finance a third movie, to be honest. Artistically, I think this is the greatest franchise in cinema... but it is losing money.
