Love it when the younger generation take the the initiative to run programs for their fellow youths. There are plenty of videos out about Hamvention but you have the most original content. Well done. U-rah-rah
You have by far the best Hamvention video my friend. Thanks a lot for sharing so much cool stuff that is not the typical of “new products”. I bet you had fun and enjoyed a lot of good food haha
Another great video, Michael. I could not get to Dayton this year. So, as a follower of your channel, I appreciate you giving us a quick glimpse inside the show. 73
Good morning Michael really enjoyed the video, also the food look very delicious. And the two vans that you shown the Collins van and KI1P van. Sounds like you and your wife had a wonderful time at Dayton. I hope you have a great day. WD5EHN Steve
Good stuff it was my first year at hamvention this year and definitely won’t be my last. The kids on the air is great! that some young guys are doing that. Love the vans
Well this was fun, Michael! So cool to see different things besides the "gee, what is Icom coming out with?" 😂 Collins van super cool, awesome that kids on the air are recruiting new hams, and absolutely love that fella's portable setup. Quite a go-box! 😆 Thanks for the food report, too...I think I gained 10 pounds just watching. Your tick joke cracked me up, too. 😂 73, Brett K5WXP
One thing I learned years ago by watching these videos from Dayton (and other large hamfests) is that I wouldn't want to go to one. As an introvert, that's way too many people and way too much going on. I know some love it but it's good to remember that they aren't for everyone. They definitely bring out the unique! And show that ham radio is certain not dead! (This comment in no way is saying that hamfests are bad...just some should recognize that not everyone likes that sort of thing.)

KB9VBR..... Michael always finds the best angle to inform and educate his viewers!
The Kids are Alright. That's the future of ham radio.

I'm glad you were there and enjoyed it. Maybe I'll catch you in person next year. Keep up your good work on RUclips!
Looks like it was a good time! Thanks for sharing it with us Michael.

Great reporting on the Hamvention! I especially enjoyed all the amazing food booths you guys reviewed!!
The food was awesome and we hardly scratched the surface.

Excellent! Thanks for posting this. Was looking forward to your take.
Nice to see Hams how much equipment HAMS can stuff into their vehicles
Very nice.... Looked like fun and very interesting. New into Amateur Radio so taking it slow...Thank You
Going to Hamvention is like drinking from the fire hose. Don’t worry about taking it slow.
Enjoyed the video, y’all never play around at dinner time, I love it!
Friday was great. Once the rain passed there was a nice, cool breeze.
That Collins van is awesome

I'm glad you enjoyed Hamvention. Kids on the Air is the future of ham radio.
I ran into so many friendly folks but I never did see you! What an amazing event Hamvention is
It's a big show, we must have just missed each other.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I prefer making the 'human interest' videos as it gives you the real flavor of what's going on at the show.
I only went on sunday this year. Heard the attendance was great.
I think they had record attendance. Even the rain on Friday didn't keep people away.

I get it. Hamfests are crowded and you get jostled about. About half way through the day both Chris and I are 'peopled out' and ready to go home.
Inspired by the sharp operators of KOTA, Kids on the Air!
The Kids are Alright. That's the future of ham radio.
Looks like a lot of fun. Come home with any new toys?
I sure did. A gear haul video is coming next.
You need to work on your audio. I could not understand a word the Collins guy was saying.
I agree. The guy was speaking at practically a whisper and any more audio processing would've made him even more unintelligible.
Thank you for the video. KD9PJN
