I've been to khajjiar twice, these kind of old stone wood homes can be seen in kalatop also when we go down the trail from the end. Nice place

Mostly snowall starts here in January but if you're lucky then you may see snowfall in last week of December.

Mystic village is a community stay and not a single homestay. You can chose any house from the village and stay there. It's managed by NotOnMap so you can book your stay on NotOnMap website. And yes you can walk from Khajjiar to mystic village, it's an easy 2km walk.

This video is also shot in January. Difficulty depends on weather. If the roads are open then you can easily reach here via khajjiar. Even after heavy snowfall roads get open within 2-3 days.
Hi dear Yati... It is possible to visit by four vhiler. Like tempo traveler..?
you can go upto Khajjiar on a four wheeler but to reach mystic village you've to hike minimum 2 kms.
How is khajjiar n Dalhousie in second week of December? I mean..how much chilled or snow? Can I plan trip with kid ?
It's good you can plan your trip in in December but chances of snowfall are very rare even in last week of December. It mostly snow here in January and February. But if you get lucky maybe you'll find snow nearby or at the highest peak of Dainkund near Dalhousie. But the weather will be cold and chilly for sure.

it'll be cold in mid December but you'll not see snow there as it starts snowing there from January. But you'll need jacket and warm clothing that time.

Hello we are visiting Khajjar in mid February.. but we are not staying in mystic village we are staying in Chamba .. can you tell me will I be able to visit Khajjar that time or the roads will be blocked?? Plz suggest an alternative route as well
Chamba Khajjiar road stays open most of the time. It's Dalhousie Khajjiar road that gets block due to snow. So you don't have to worry if you're staying in Chamba you can easily reach Khajjiar and even if it's snowing heavily during your visit then you can go through this alternate route that I've shown in this video.

less snow or maybe no snow depends on weather but you'll have comfortable stay as temperature starts to rise during that time.

Superb site for solo traveling. No need for background music, let nature speak. Camera work is too good with effective presentation about mystic village and khajjair. I wanted to know about the peak season and suitable weather for coming to Khajjair. We are planning to arrive Khajjair in 1st week of February. Can we seen snowfall in Feburary and it safe and suitable for health . Nice video with splendid camera work. Well done bro keep going on.
Thank you sir 🙏 Yes it is safe and suitable for health and peak season is summer here but you can visit khajjiar all year round. The only problem with visiting here in January and February is road block due to heavy snowfall and that's why I shared this video of an alternate route through Mystic Village. But don't worry the road gets open within 3-4 days after heavy snowfall so just check weather forecast when you're coming to Khajjiar.
