You are underestimating Arvy a little I think ! Speaking from Kings fan, I hated losing Arvy !!! He is a VERY underestimated playmaker and good goal scorer ! Very fast as well. Great team guy and difference maker. I’d love to see him paired with CM or LD. Oh my, could be VERY good. As far as his health I think it’s behind him. He worked very hard after last back surgery to get back quickly to game shape. I think he will be healthy at least for the 2 years you guys signed him for !! This was a great signing for Oilers and you are gonna love him !

I don't think I've seen anyone point out that separating McDavid and Draisaitl has always been about having depth and a lethal 2nd line to follow up McDavid, but what if the Oilers can use the new depth to build a lethal 2nd line with McDrai together?

Your forgetting the biggest issues on this team ok....The Goaltending and the D !!! Once again the Canuck's are far better team in the Pacific, it took the Oiler's 7 games to beat a team using a 3rd string goalie !!

He's not a strong skater at all and he is pretty fucking bad at carrying at the puck into the zone. The only thing he may be worse at than carrying the puck in, is defense, and checking. This guy is talking out if his on this.
