    Hey Rex, Frog Toggs makes a really nice rain jacket. It's well made light, weight and has a hood that will go right over your ball cap. I got mine at Bass Pro. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it...I believe it was around $50 bucks. Stay safe driver!!

  • @CarlinDontCare
    @CarlinDontCare Год назад

    If your check engine light comes on but the display says “active: 0” alerts you can go in and check manually all the codes for the different options like ECM, ABS, ACM, CGW, CPC, TCM, etc and your codes will be there if there’s any. I have a 2022 Cascadia and there’s been a couple of times where codes have popped up and went away by themselves in a day or two. Main thing is to always keep an eye on engine or transmission gauges if something like that comes on.

    Well for a rain coat I can tell you what I did one time. Came back in on Friday night hoping to have the weekend off and my dispatcher said I was going to save him. He needed a load to Springfield Mo Saturday morning and I was his only driver with the hours. We all know how that really goes. Reset was only 8 hours then and I had like 9 hours when I left the yard before I needed to be back to make the run. Dispatched called me maybe 4 hours after I got home and said the customer was out of product could I come in early and make the run. We had just switched to computers so if I was thinking I should have went in because I would have been out of hours about an hour after I got on the road since I did not get my 8 hour break. Anyway when I get down to Springfield it was raining harder than ever and with the customer out of product they needed me to unload right then. Had to pump it off in a down pour, and no cover over the area at all. Getting into work that morning the shop had my truck in doing some work so I had to take another truck. NO rain coat in this truck. What do you do? Only thing I had in the truck was the plastic cover was still on the mattress in the truck so it became my rain coat. Still got soaked. At that time we had to call dispatch to find out where to fuel when we were not around a normal fuel stop. The weekend dispatcher was nice since I was soaked and they really needed this load he told me to grab aa hotel and they would pay the bill

    Hey man, I'm a prime driver currently for almost 4 years in reefer and I've been wanting to switch over, do you think you could cover topics like what a normal week looks in runs, what areas do you see the most often, what hours of the day are typical. And also as more specific note are you seeing less work right now with how soft the freight has gotten? In reefer its pretty low times as a lease op atm. I know this is a lot but it'd be really helpful to know own more specifics because everyone always takes the route of saying "it all depends" which is of course always true to a degree but as a reefer driver I can say my 4 years driving have been pretty predictable, you learn the routes and runs and know typically where you're going.
    Be safe.
