@Philip Here are some tips that helped me.
1. Plan towards it
2. Be frugal and minimal on spending (don't buy why you don't need )
3. Save money towards retirement (Roth IRA/401k)
4. Build an emergency fund
5. Save to invest,this is the most important because it's a proven way to get richer. Very important to financial success.
@Philip There are alot of investment options like real estate, crypto, ETF'S stock's but my best advise, get a professional to lead you into a profitable one.

I don’t know how much longer y’all are gonna live there, but a tip for y’all and others is contact paper! It’s removable, leaves little to no residue (depending on brand, & can easily wipe off), and you can just unscrew and rescues the handles (or even switch them out) and put it back to how it was when you move out! 💕✨

Really lovely. Light, fresh and lived in. I understand about the kitchen. My husband and I bought a country cottage last year (massive project!!!). It's almost ready to become part of my daughter and mine's business' next step (a language b & b). The only area that needed no work was the kitchen. Which has saved us a lot of expenditure. However, the colour is pretty much the same as yours which is just too dark for the quaint area it's set in. Once everything is complete, I will paint/change it for sure. For now though, I've just brightened it as much as I can with light coloured and light wooden accessories. Your home is lovely..Congratulations and good luck to you both from sunny Galicia 🇪🇸💕

You could always use the renter-friendly hack of contact paper on your kitchen cabinets and counter if you want to change the colour scheme x
we have thought of that!! but it seemed a little too time intensive for us right now

I love that you have combined the colors of wood with white in the kitchen, and especially because of that black brick accent wall behind the oven. The combination of the wooden floor with the other typical materials of the MCM generates a very pleasant effect to the eye. I'd like to add plants like those to my living room. I recently traded in my old sofa for a Bellini sofa fabric boucle from Manhattan Home Design and I think some plants with very green leaves would make a great contrast. Cheers! love the aesthetics of your place!! it seems to be predominantly your style/vibe, what was you and josh’s process in creating the space? moving in with my boyfriend and trying to figure out what the right balance is
luckily josh and I had similar visions for our place! we gravitated towards a lot of the same major pieces (couch, mirror, etc) but for other decorations he was happy to have his side of the office and the bedroom be his and then help me make the rest of the decisions!

I feel like I’ve gotta give you this tip to save you some cash.. if u don’t already know of course cause it’s changed my life but avocados once the turn black and no longer green put them in the fridge and they will stay green inside longer and I usually have no problems with them rotting before I use em.
