I love this video, I wish I could give it a billion likes!!! I’ve always said that a person could build a good arsenal with majority urethane balls and just a few reactive balls. I don’t have the Radical NU, but I have the purple/black/pink Urethane and of course the Hammer NU. When I say I can play dam near any pattern with those combination, I’ve yet to play on a pattern where I struggled on. If you get the right reactive, so for me it’s my widow 2.0, my 2.0 hybrid and my 3.0 (I am a hammer guy).of course you need reactive for longer patterns, however I feel like the brands of Brunswick did a really good job at making balls that’s versatile. Not to mention the addition of surface. I really don’t know why a person would choose to not use urethane on a shorter pattern. Anyways another great video ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽
@@willieyoung7070 aww thanks Willie!! I appreciate the comment and the insight! Makes complete sense what you’re saying. I think these balls roll great on Sherman’s low volume summer house pattern also. Love that you’re a hammer guy- I have all those widows too 😉 because they’re great!
I bowled on my first tournament short pattern (Stockholm) last week. Urethane was so nice. Most folks there had weaker shinny balls and the scores were low. Purple Hammer looked nice, but I had the best results with the Black Widow Pink Urethane. I love these urethane comparison videos!
Thank you! That's wonderful news! Urethane is a unique reaction and not a lot of people have it in their bag nor know when to use it at the right time...
Thank you!! that sounds great! especially on sport patterns. I bet it will give you a great, predictable reaction, especially on short/medium patterns.
Hi Valerie what are you using to record your videos and get that split screen I wonder how you do that. Jim.. would love to record myself using that technique
@@bowlwithVALue hahaha. Nope, not this one. I thought about not saying anything but then thought a comment would still help the algorithm! Now that you've encouraged it though... Actually I was shocked at the NuBlue shape, not what I would have expected in that comparison. I'm two handed and medium speed, sometimes the purple can hook too much for me still on super short stuff. I've been eyeballing the Black Urethane. But do I really need another ball... But I can want another!😝
Hahaha sorry I just saw this -- I have to remember to go back into "responses with new replies" Yes, the black doesn't hook as much and goes longer than the purple, so definitely an option!! Might be the compliment you need ;) The purple has done the same for me actually. Needs a good amount of volume, interestingly!
Excellent content! As a Lefty, urethane is usually all I can throw. I like my NU Blue and wanted to see it compared to the Rattler. What weight are the balls you're throwing here??
@@bowlwithVALue Thanks for getting back to me!! I have always used 15lb equipment, but I had shoulder\arm surgery earlier this year and I think I might switch to 14lbs as I rehab and come back after +7 months without bowling. I am glad to see that 14lbs can still hit the pins very well.
Ooo...yes I would start with a lighter weight and then potentially go back up to 15lbs when you're feeling strong again. I don't have exact stats but I believe my strike percentage is way higher. and I have a much freer swing with 14lbs. Maybe one day I'll show a comparison video of how I threw it 9 years ago with 15lbs vs now haha

Great video! I have the purple hammer and am getting the Rattler Nu on Friday, pretty excited to throw it on sport!

This was another awesome video. Keep them coming. This is a great comparison video.
@@JustChuck1t thank you!! We have another video planned for next week featuring dasha again 🥰 it’s not a comparison, but I think it’ll be helpful!
That was cool. So glad I just got the Rattler NU.

I actually use 2 cameras! Sometimes the set up is better than others. It was my husband's idea and it is working out :)
Great comparisons, thank you!
