What's the shortcut for connecting two objects when you have them both selected (like you do at 1:38 for example)? Does this also work with multiple outlets and inlets?
hey dirk, that's a workflow package called 'toolbox'. it's not in the package manager for some reason but you can get it here: github.com/natcl/maxtoolbox you can connect objects with key strokes and yea it works great with multiple i/o
right the envelope follower is the easiest way! you can find many envelope follower max patches online but i make on myself with gen~ basically ABS your input and smooth it out with slide and snapshot that number and you have yourself an envelope follower
You use the object "read" in 7:56 however I do not seem to have this object in my library, where did you get it from? Has it perhaps been removed as jit.movie method?
I followed along to your tutorial, but setting amp to 0 does not stop the glitch - anyone have an idea why that would be? as far as I can see all elements of the patch are identical
thank you for sharing this, it really opens up some scope for interesting experiments.

Hi Sem, great work, I really start with Max,, how do you replace the sphere with a proper mp4? Thanks man!
use a jit.movie as a source and you're off

Hi! So how would I go about controlling the level of glitching with audio? I think you mentioned something called follower...?
right the envelope follower is the easiest way!

read is not an object but a message object with the word read in it
I followed along to your tutorial, but setting amp to 0 does not stop the glitch - anyone have an idea why that would be? as far as I can see all elements of the patch are identical
can you copy compress everything and paste it here?

I was thinking the same.
Fuck dude, did your space bar piss you off or something ? you're beating the shit out of the poor thing lol
it's an external keyboard, they make a little more noise. but yea i'm know for my furious patching methods hehe
