Also their taller so it's easier. Notice Hamilton struggled with a dunk many of the taler guys do in their sleep on 10 feet. The shorter the guy the better those dunks look.

If Hamilton practices more on trick dunks he's gonna be scary for sure the bounce is definitely there, all he needs is more practice on trick dunks.

Ya,maybe cuz his body is not “smooth" enough,idk how to explain this but great dunkers often looks smooth(like tyler currie or kilganon) than rough/hard and robotic looking...if u follow isaiah,when he first started,his body looks robotic when he dunks,kinda like hamilton,but now isaiah doesn't look as robotic/hard looking anymore
He gets as high as anybody but he's too rigid.

Yea Hamilton’s vertical is with the best of them. It’s just that he’s not a technical dunker so these types of competitions he has a disadvantage. Only real dunker who isn’t crazy technical but could get away with that is Doug Anderson with ridiculous windmill and btl’s. But even Hamilton I don’t think he can do btl variations other than the regular btl. He just needs to practice skill dunks specifically instead of trying to do high flying one and two hand dunks everytime.

And Kilganon gets robbed again...Tyler's dunk was amazing! So when I heard tie I assumed it was Tyler and Jordan for sure. The control needed to stop a dunk midway and change direction is unreal and people dont realize how hard that is

that wouldn’t be fair tho lol he won that because he is used to this kind of dunking but didn’t perform in the other rounds so he has to be punished for that..everybody has their stronger events so if he won his event they can’t just let him be safe because of that
@@MartyNguyen611 But the other guys solely got through because of the other dunks and missed the dunk in the current round. How is that fair. I think if you win the round and are still in the bottom you go through and the next lowest score should be in the bottom.

Its a competition as a whole.
@@willijs8 I think his point is that this competition is counted as a whole. I mean it includes other dunk contest as well, not only this low rim constest. If this is a single low rim dunk competition then yeah currie should obviously win that, but this is multiple dunk contests combined. So it does not really makes sense to let somebody win the competition just because he won a contest out of multiple contests. But yeah in my opinion currie is one of the best dunkers and is no doubt the future of dunking

It’s amazing how all these high flyers suddenly look ground bound once you raise the rim a few inches. It just goes to show how much an inch or two in gains can improve the look of your dunks.

1 feet is a lot it's not just a few inches. 1 feet is height of rim to the backboard (not those NBA kind but old school which are lower).

He fucked up on the previous round on the highest dunk challenge. His height gave him problem there.
Currie did a dunk that I have never seen before in my life. He should have won this one. It was over somebody, thought the legs and then behind the back and to finish with the flush. Crazy. The level of difficult was higher than Clark's

I like the "highest dunk contest" but jumping higher doesn't always mean a better dunker. With Currie being 5"11 he was pretty much destined to lose since that last round. They might need to remake the rules for that going forward.

Kilganon did the over someone, through the legs, behind the back on a 10' rim
He's also taller and has a higher Vert than Currie does. It's alot more difficult for the shorter guys. See Hamilton struggled with the 360 Eastbay that Chris Staples and Kilganon can do in their sleep.

nah pendulum is a bit different, he said this one was a ziani windmill back to a windmill which means that he did a full rotation on the ziani part and went all the way back to windmill, but in a sense it’s a hella massive pendulum
