@George Strait In all honesty, I always said I liked all sorts of music except country. I grew up on big band bc my dad was a DJ in Dayton,OH and that ‘s what he played. As a teenager I listened to rock but never Listened to country. After Big Band, music of the 70s was my go to. I heard you sing I Cross My Heart a couple of years ago and that opened the door. I bought the album it is on & that’s all I listen to in the car. Because you & Alan Jackson collaborate, I listen to his Remember When a lot. There’s a lot of country I don’t care for but you & Alan touch my heart. I love your slow, romantic songs but I haven’t found too many. My husband is not a fan of country. He played in a big band orchestra thru high school & college and he likes classical a lot, but he likes you. Says he wishes your songs were longer.
All that being said, I hope I am replying to George Strait. On Facebook & Twitter it’s easy to tell because celebs’ names are followed by a blue check meaning verified. I KNOW when I’ve gotten a reply from my fav actor, not that he answers me that much! Utube doesn’t do that apparently. There are a lot of slime balls out there, preying on old women and while I may be old-78-I don’t plan to be sucked in. If I get the slightest indication that you aren’t who you say you are, you’re gone, baby, blocked & reported. Fair?
