Just wanted to put out my review lol I've been using the veikk tablet to make my visual novel for 2 months, and... god. It's PERFECT. The nib hasn't worn out yet. But I would like to add some stuff I didn't really like. - The tablet's drawing area texture is a bit too smooth. If that bothers someone, I suggest something else that doesn't have a smooth drawing area and has a paper-ey texture. But I like it. Combined with total stabilizer, I can easily make the line art. -The pressure sensitivity is not the greatest. (I prefer something that's not too sensitive to make it ideal for line art.) -The tablet is very thin. This means it's very fragile, drop it on the floor and your computer digital art future career is shattered. Could've made it more thicker. -My side buttons for the pen is not very sensitive, I had to press two times on the undo button for a little mistake to undo. (Might not be the same case for everyone else) But overall, I REALLY love it. It's even within my pathetic budget, 1200+ pesos. (I don't really wanna convert that to whatever currency-)

Nice review and I envy your skills. I've tried using a tablet as well as those drawing pens they sell for phones but I could never get used to them. I bought a CD-R king 12" tablet over a decade ago and a friend who used it says it's fine, but I can't even get a good sketch going with that thing. Anyway, good to see you're still active and uploading videos. I've been out of touch with your latest uploads recently.
If you're having trouble with the tablet, here's a tip that I do. I also have trouble with it because the surface is too slippery. I taped bond paper on top and it gave the tablet more traction and it feels more like drawing on paper. Using the pen tablet on a mobile phone or tablet is easier than PC because you can rotate the image, which makes it easier to get to some lines and curves.
Yup, I just wrapped the whole drawing area with bond paper. The bond paper will get worn out after sometime so just replace it when it does. Let me know how it worked out for you okay?
It's fine. As long as your hardwwre can support it (as long as your hardware doesn't heat up or makes noticeable lags then it should be fine) anything that can support and make your drawings faster and look nicer would be awesome.
Hi! I'm thinking it may be possible that it's a compatibility issue. As you can see on the video, the pen tablet automatically adjusted to my phone's orientation. I'm not sure if there's a setting that you can tinker with.
Hello! I have a problem. Every time i use my veikk s640 on my phone and tried drawing apps i cant seem to move my cursor without drawing over my screen and i can draw on my veikk only on landscape. Can you answer this?

apparently my micro usb doesn't work on my 2 diff phones as well. They both plugged in as intended and meant to but it seems that its not working. Oppo A3s and a vivo phone which should work. Either its the usb or idk. (The tablet does work on pc so its definitely not the tablet itself)
I get a lot of comments regarding both phone brands - that they don't recognize devices such as pen tablets. It's such a bummer as the S640 is really good for on the go drawing with a mobile device

Check with the seller first or product specs. Some sellers remove the glove and the other freebies to sell it separately. I actually almost fell for it. Luckily I checked on the official online store first.
Well, it has arrived and I forgot to write a review here, but I have been using it very frequently since it came, It took some time to get used to it but It's super super easy to take notes with it on One Note 2016, I would recommend it. I also tried playing OSU with it, it's really good for that as well.

That's weird though.... I always thought that you don't have to double tap you just draw right away. It may be with the settings of either the pen or in Photoshop. If the pen doesn't require you to double tap on other softwares and apps, then it may be the photoshop that has issues with settings.

All of their tablets are equally good. It all depends on what you need. Do you need a larger drawing surface, or something small and portable, or one that has shortcut function keys. I don't know what you're going to use it for or how. So it really depends on you

I guess so. That's why a smaller drawing tablet works for me because I always take it anywhere I go. If it's just for note taking, I think the smaller one works.

I'm not sure how to answer that though.... Because it all boils down to personal preference and level of comfort. For me, the smaller one works. I did had experience with both full size and small drawing tablets but I'm more confortable with the smaller tablet because I feel I have more control. If you haven't had any experience with drawing tablets before, just go with the larger one first.

I have v1 of s640 when otg was not launched. There is some glitch with my device maybe. Even if I am lifting the pen the cursor stays at its place and continues the stroke Someone please suggest what can be done

@@aj-vr8xb I tried contacting the support staff and they said some firmware update is needed and for that they will have to be on call all the time. I don't use my tablet on phone much so I am fine with that. You can try contacting them if it is imp to you

What phone are you using? Sometimes there are phone models that do not recognize devices like these. Have you tried plugging the Veikk to a different device or even a tablet? Try it also on a PC or laptop, if it still doesn't work, you may have gotten a defective one.
@@ART-DESTROYED I have tried it on my pc and it's perfectly working fine. I have a xiaomi phone that's running Android 10 and has OTG enabled automatically and it won't work. I also tried to connect the veikk in a Huawei phone and have the OTG enabled, but it still won't work. Maybe the micro usb is the problem? I contacted the CS and they told me to send a video that it really won't work cause they said it normally can't happen. :(

It may be a device compatibility issue. Try a different phone or try it on a pc. If it works there, that means your phone model doesn't accept devices like these
Try it on a computer or a different phone. Some phones doesn't have the capability to recognize devices like these. I did receive comments previously that the tablet doesn't seem to work on certain phone models and brands.

@@ART-DESTROYED Nope. It didn't show up. And yes I did try plugging it on another android but it was a samsung galaxy tablet. The phone I tried to test was vivo s1 pro.
There might be some compatibility issue with other devices. Try this last step. Plug in the Veikk to your phone then restart your phone while it's still plugged in. Make sure that internet is available to let the phone recognize the device and download an update. If it doesn't work still. The Vivo phone may not have the capability to recognize this type of device.
There's instructions in the manual that it came with or you can use the QR code in the package for online help. There's a software that you need to download where you will be able to assign functions and program the buttons as well as calibrate and set the pen sensitivity
Kuya, what happens if the pen doesn't work? Like, whenever i try to draw in ibispaint, i only see the circle pero hindi po ako maka draw(i just got the tablet so clueless po ako ngayon Haha)
You're using a tablet device? I also had trouble when I used it on a Sony Experia tablet. Nakikita ko yung cursor ng pen pero ayaw nya mag tap or mag draw. Try using another device like a phone.
No, i meant po na i just got the graphic/drawing tablet, do you have any ideas on how to fix this? The only thing I can think of is that there may be a compatibility issue since it worked on your phone. But If it got worse and doesn't turn on anymore, even if you use it on your phone. You may have gotten a defective product.
Check compatibility too. I think there are comments here where they had issues with their phone not being compatible with the Veikk, but if you're using it for computer, no problem then

Yup. I use my phone to draw. Tilt Feature depends on app whether it's android or pc.

Nope. Sorry. I haven't tried Huion products. I bought the VEIKK S640 because of its affordability and works well for me with no issues at all.

Should I get this tablet for taking notes in OneNote? I will never use it for drawing, only for note-taking purposes, is it worth it?
I suggest you don't. It's easier to take notes when you write directly on the screen vs. on a separate tablet.

Nope you don't need one. The glove is just there to help your hand slide through the tablet.

It may be possible it's the OTG adapter. If you have another adapter you can try swapping it and see if it works

It may be a device compatibility issue. Try a different phone or try it on a pc. If it works there, that means your phone model doesn't accept devices like these

Try it on a computer or a different phone. Some phones doesn't have the capability to recognize devices like these. I did receive comments previously that the tablet doesn't seem to work on certain phone models and brands.

In my experience, my Android phone automatically recognizes the device and no need for driver. Not sure with other phone models and brands.

bicoz some devices do put text like "support android" but the device have to be installed with the driver to work on android phone

@@ART-DESTROYED Nope. It didn't show up. And yes I did try plugging it on another android but it was a samsung galaxy tablet. The phone I tried to test was vivo s1 pro.

There might be some compatibility issue with other devices. Try this last step. Plug in the Veikk to your phone then restart your phone while it's still plugged in. Make sure that internet is available to let the phone recognize the device and download an update. If it doesn't work still. The Vivo phone may not have the capability to recognize this type of device.
How do you set the buttons for pc on the stylus?
There's instructions in the manual that it came with or you can use the QR code in the package for online help. There's a software that you need to download where you will be able to assign functions and program the buttons as well as calibrate and set the pen sensitivity

You're using a tablet device? I also had trouble when I used it on a Sony Experia tablet. Nakikita ko yung cursor ng pen pero ayaw nya mag tap or mag draw. Try using another device like a phone.
No, i meant po na i just got the graphic/drawing tablet, do you have any ideas on how to fix this? I also tried it on 2 other mobile devices(both are Vivo) but they got worse since the tablet didn't turned on but it works on my phone(mine is Samsung j5), the buttons work but the only problem is that i can't draw or do anything
The only thing I can think of is that there may be a compatibility issue since it worked on your phone. But If it got worse and doesn't turn on anymore, even if you use it on your phone. You may have gotten a defective product.

Depends on how much you draw and how much pressure you put into it. So if you have a heavy hand, it can wear out much faster
