I really loved this movie. It took me back to the 2000s when I was still in high school. And the songs they used really brought back that early 2000s vibe. It was so fun and chill-not overly dramatic. The fashion from back then was so different! I got emotional when I heard *So Yesterday* by Hilary Duff and *All You Wanted* by Michelle Branch. You know we had cell phones in 2003 (only 4 years away from the release of the iPhone). Arguably we had better phones in some respects. The reaction of a teenager isn't "Whoa is that your phone? It must cost a million dollars". The reaction would be "Whoa is that your phone? How do you slide out the keyboard?" No teenager in 2003 would be so confused at an iPhone (because I'm assuming it's always an iPhone) that they hold it and say "What's this?".
