KD is the closest thing to McGrady. Durant is the better shooter and he's a few inches taller but Tmac had that 43 inch vertical and was a nasty mid air acrobat with hangtime.

Jay Scribe that was after his prime days which were with the magics. we all noticed that his practice days were over when his stats went down and he was no longer in the shape he was when he was with the magics. he went from 215 pounds as a magic to 235 pounds as a rocket. he thought he put in enough work at the gym to keep coming all the time. but McGrady wouldn't miss practice often as a player would get fined if they did. McGrady just wouldn't put in the extra work when he played for gundy. but as a magic he was amongst the hardest working players in the league. no one was at kobes level tho in work ethic no doubt.
his stats didn't g down because of practice, his stats went down because he got yao ming. just to break it down for you. yao ming played half a season every year while tmac was with rockets. except first year I believe. but when yao was out. t-mac averaged Orlando numbers just about. but his rebounds and ots wont be the same because he yao to assist him with that, tmac even said. he doesn't have to work to hard offensively anymore because he has help for pts and board. that's why his assist number are higher than Orlando. also take in consideration that he became injury prone by 2005-2006 so he had games where he played but wasn't healthy. but healthy tmac on court as rocket when yao was out. tmac averaged crazy stats
Ezequiel Merced Neither of both could beat MJ ever. Jordan had a better defensive skills and a superior offense than both. They would be great contenders, but that's it, no more!!! MJ would win, he was such a determined guy to beat everyone.
TMAC Has better talent that very little people have, if you watch his high school game, there not so much improvement after he enter the NBA, and kobe 's hard training and learning make he better than TMAC after 2002 and take lead forever .
