i think it definitely comes down to the simplicity of, much of the democratic base really did not like Hillary, and now, much of the democratic base and beyond do genuinely like Harris and are enthusiastic about her, for the past two elections democrats ran on a very "you're not voting for our candidate, you're voting against trump" and thats now changed, people are voting for harris, not just against trump, and thats why I believe taking a 2016 approach to trumps campaign would be a fatal mistake and would likely cost him the election

As an American voter, it feels....different from 2016. With Clinton, people didn't LIKE her and were doubting if he could even win. That total apathy is why he won. We had four years of him, and that pushed people to vote for Biden. But the damage he's done to this country is going to be long-lasting. With Harris, she's approachable, she's funny, she's charismatic. The more the right try to paint her as a DEI hire and the more the far FAR left try and paint her as a crooked cop (she was a prosecutor very different), they will only cause people to rally to her side.
What I've noticed in American politics is if you're running for president, you need to bring the heat for 4 years and if you don't, people will exchange you for something different. Trump won cause he was different from the norm. Biden won cause he was different from what we had under Trump. I think Harris will win cause she's different from both men. Americans are craving stability and it feels like she's the ticket to that.

She was corrupt, she kept an innocent man locked up on a paperwork technicality to improve her conviction record and doesn't believe in body cameras for police officers. George Floyd would have gone unnoticed if not for the video evidence. She dealt out really harsh sentences for marijuana violations. She takes big money from pharma companies and is against Medicare for all. Every one of her potential VP picks are self-described Zionists.
Now to be fair - she picked Tim Walz, she was for kinder, more humane language when Biden would release a statement about Israel.
But she's definitely done shady and morally reprehensible things to advance her career that, yes, are corrupt. She's not as bad as trump, but this idea she ISN'T corrupt is absurd. She's no Bernie Sanders.

And to your other point, I don't know. Obama was a massive disappointment who ran the government as a centrist. Bush kind of got default support after 911, but his administration was a mess. Presidents are usually quite tough to take out of office. I mean in 2020, Trump's vote share went up, and it even went up among black people and Hispanic people.

It also feels like Trump has all the disadvantages of being an incumbent with none of the advantages.

Personally, I think more people are going to vote for Harris and Walz than against Trump.

I really hope that the GOP does not make any ground. I am really afraid for my local elections more based off of what I saw in the primaries. The turn out for people who identify with Trump is staggering and I am really disappointed the area were I live will not see the same positive tick in the hopeful direction.

4:35 It wasn't always the case landslides were rare. FDR was winning by landslides in the 1940s, Reagan had similar landslides. If there was a Bernie Sanders on the ticket, that's like a 400+ victory

Now I don't want him to win but if I was trump my strategy for Kamala would be this.
Say that shes very lovely, has good intentions but she doesn't "have what it takes." Say that I know what it takes because I've been there and then say that the snakes she surrounds herself with are dangerous to her.
Then you go after all the worst looking democrats and drum up fears about them. I'm fairly sure the democrats won't know how to deal with that sort of offense. If they cut the staff it makes them look weak if they don't it also makes it seem like trumpmis right.
It's too late to try this now because hes already gone after Kamala the why he has.

I would say this election is more like 2016, not feeling wise, but I'd say that Trump as a lot more support this time around than in 2020. Kamala also doesn't do herself any favors, not many people like her, even on the left. A lot of her support is manufactured or paid for. Kamala was extremely left wing as a senator. Trump on the other hand, is also alienating his base because he's basically saying "If you're not MAGA, I don't need your vote" Not to mention his staunch support of Israel also alienates the right because a lot of people on the right want an America-First type candidate that doesn't involve in other countries' wars. Also, sexism does play a part here because there is still tons of moderates and even older Democrats don't believe a woman could be president. I do believe Trump will win, but I don't think it will be a landslide, however if he doesn't win, I feel like it'll be because he committed political suicide.
TL;DR: Trump will probably win, but not by a huge margin

      Man this is, pretty wrong.
People who think that Kamala has a manufactured base or that people on the left don’t like her are genuinely in the worst echo chambers imaginable.
I can’t speak for what the outcome will be, but this is a very wrong take, speak to anyone on the left trust me.

I'm not so sure, she doesn't have the baggage that Clinton has as stated in the video, but she also has a more balanced ticket than Trump, as moderate/capitalist Dems will like her and she has seemingly softened her position - And Tim Walz is a progressive superstar that can capture the enthusiasm of the progressive left, and also position himself as a folksy Dad figure that is likeable to moderates and undecideds, AND is an effective debator that can be an "attack dog" that openly challenges the GOP and it's values. Trump is aggressive sure, but he is fast becoming incomprehensible and Vance is more of the same culture war meandering that shows him as just a massive fan of Trump instead of bringing something different as a VP pick, add to that Trump is showing his instability in the wake of the court cases and his aggressive approach towards a much more likeable African-American/Indian woman just comes across as racist and reactionary rather than pointing out any legitimate or preconceived concerns about the opposition candidate in the electorate.
The more Trump and Vance talk, the more they appear to be ignoring their campaign team's advice and alienating themselves from all walks including African Americans, to Christians and even die-hard Trumpers calling him out on his hypocrisy. What hope he has is reliant on enough people failing to realise his track record as President is U-Turn after U-Turn and failure after failure, such as the tax cuts and jobs still being outsourced despite his promises.
It's still a rather tight race sure, but much has changed since Biden dropped out and there's still time for the 2.5 point gap to further widen in favour of Harris and Walz 😊

Man, I’ve been out here doing all this supporting Kamala Harris for free when I could have been getting paid? Gosh, I wish someone had told me. I was just riding the high of having a democratic candidate that says all the things that I want to hear and then actually having news stories come out about actions that she’s taking showing she’s willing to back it up.
I wonder how much money she must have if most of her support is manufactured… you know, considering the fact that every democrat I’ve spoken to is a lot happier with her than any other political candidate in the past 8 years. It seems kind of financially irresponsible to be paying off people who aren’t even attending rallies and generally don’t comment on politics on the internet. I mean, even paying off the massive amount of people attending her rallies and posting their own videos of attending online seems like quite the expense, but hey! What do I know?

Judging from the fact that Harris campaign have doctored photos (I recall seeing an image of Harris leaving a plane with a massive crowd… that didn’t exist in the reflection…) probably not.
    But ya never know.

Man, you ate the disinformation. Sorry to tell you bro, the crowd was as real as real gets.
You can confirm for yourself by looking up the event and seeing that in fact there were plenty of people taking video/pictures on their phones and putting it on social media for everyone to see. It’s not rocket science to confirm these things, it’s just a little bit of effort.
