People out there - not paying attention make my head explode. I talked to a coworker today. She has a master's in social work. She doesn't even know who the nominees are for President and did not realize it was an election year. She says "I usually figure it out about Halloween and then decide who I'm going to vote for." How do people exist in that mindset??

She's living in Oklahoma, with a master's degree in social work and working for the state. Sadly - in Oklahoma there are far too many of these people. They just take what happens as if it's going to happen and they have no control. She neither is illegal, nor has a bad record or she wouldn't work with me at my agency. I have at least 3 coworkers who expressed disbelief that Trump was on trial a few months back. Said that it was "fake news" and went on with their day.

The current polls are a joke. My nephew told me that he had taken four polling phone calls, and I barely said a few words to express his support for the conservative Republican Party, but the other party immediately hung up the phone without even a thank you. So I never answer calls from strangers. This affects my life. Really evil.

Walked out of an abusive marriage. Got a job, got the house, got a car to take care of my kids, sent them to private schools. With very little experience. How did I do it? Joined a union!! Best decision I ever made. Try doing that 20 years previously. Everyday was on the job training!! 5 years later I was doing the training. Every couple years when the bosses were telling us how much money they NEVER MADE, and we had evidence of the opposite, They bussed the guys out from the midwest to picket with us!
