yup, same here. been smoking for over 20 years frequently. I stopped from one day to the other. Started doing more sports to distract myself a bit but it wasn't a big deal to my surprise. The THC addiction is more of a mental issue (can't seem to relax without it, can't fall asleep and such).

Did shrooms twice, and might've been one of the best experiences. Trees were leaning to the left, clouds got smaller and bigger, grass was spinning, and my friends' legs looked like pillars. It's a great time in the right enviroment and with the right people. The second time I tripped it was raining and it was dark and I freaked out, so I see what they're saying about the darkness. You just kinda feel lost, and it seems like you can't do a damn thing about it. But do it yourself, instead of going off of my experience. Shrooms is a great drug.

It’s all about vibes, I remember being on lsd and in our living room everyone was chilling laughing, music playing and I had to take a piss so I opened the door to go towards the bathroom and the little foyer room I walked into had no one in it, zero music, just silent. And I immediately just turned back around and went back into the living room. You’re whole experience on psychedelics is based on your surroundings. If you’re around good people you’ll have a good time, if you’re by yourself there’s just nothing stopping your mind from wandering into a dark place. Always have people around you, and try to have atleast one person not trip so they can monitor your crazy asses lol 🌀

(side note: by this time I was already and experienced tripper, haveing done more L than I could count) my first shroom experience was only half an eighth but it felt near like 5 tabs of L. But I've had other shroom trips in which I eat a whole eight or more and trip like on the level of like a single tab. It's fucking odd, the first experience I had was definitely the best I've gotten ever. Sucks now all I get is bs and you can't really know the potency until you dose em. My homie told me about a strain he got called pineal dysfunction that had him and his wife shiting and vomiting for like 4 hours straight on the strongest trips of their lives. And both of them trip about as much as or more than myself. It's fucking iffy out here man

no. you dont see shit that isnt there. you may see a distorted view of reality but everything you see is still real. eg. you may see lines becoming wavy or slightly pulsating but you wont just see random shit that isnt there. the trippiest part about mushrooms are the way they make you feel and think. you have to do them to understand
