I made the soil part in black because I was out of brown yarn, when I tried it the black blended in with my hair and perhaps it seemed like the sprout was growing from my head

I saw you said the length of wire you used was approximately 11cm per sprout leaf. I measured out 11 cm and made the leaf using a 3.25 hook as it’s the smallest one I have rn, and I barely had enough wire to close the end. I didn’t think that a .75 mm difference in hook size would affect the length of the wire so much. So I guess this is trial and error until I get the 2.5mm hook. I’m also using Loops and Threads 100% cotton yarn medium weight (4). The sprout leaf is pretty big. Thanks for the tutorial. It’s really cute and whimsical!
