A trip to Leh Ladakh is a dream trip for many of us, but it can also be tiring and dangerous. It is really important to take a 48-hour break as soon as you reach Leh so that your body gets enough time to acclimatize in the high altitude and low oxygen area. Now the question is, what to do in the first 48 hours of acclimatization time how to best use the initial 2 days in Leh, Ladakh.
So, we decided to explore Leh City on the first 2 days of our time in Leh Ladakh and make the best out of it. So we rented a motorbike and explored the 7 Best Places to Visit in Leh Ladakh. So in this Ladakh travel guide, we will tell you everything like Timings, tickets cost, and how to reach.
We started our day by hiring a motorbike and the first stop was
1. To have breakfast like a local Ladakhi. We tried local breads with dal and tried pink chai which is a famous Kashmiri chai that you can't miss while in Ladakh. After that,
2. We went to see the Shanti Stupa. The Stupa provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscape which make it a must-visit place in Leh Ladakh.
3. Now it was time to visit the Hall of Fame where we gave tribute to our Indian Army.
4. After that we went to the Gurdwara Pathar Sahib which was created in memory of the founder of the Sikh religion and the first guru, Guru Nanak Dev ji. You should have langar while visiting this gurudwara.
5. This was the time to visit the most hyped place in the whole of Ladakh, the Magnetic Hill in Leh. Where we discovered the mystery of Leh's Magnetic Hill.
6. After riding for 7 more kilometers we reach Sangam Point, where you can witness the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers. This is a perfect point where you can also enjoy river rafting in the crystal clear blue waters. Then we went to see the
7. Spituk Monastery Leh, is famous for its collection of Buddhist objects of antique arms, icons, ancient masks, and numerous Thangka paintings.
We ended our day by Visiting the Hall of Fame again to see the amazing sound and light show which will fill your soul with loads of patriotic feelings. So this is how we spent our first 48 hours in Leh Ladakh and enjoyed visiting these majestic places.
