    I’m staying with Walmart and Amazon. I rarely need something essential that I can’t get from those two companies.
    Walmart is almost always the cheapest. Amazon gives me more options and gives me quality items. Clothing I go online with top brands. Talbots. Boston proper. Once I know their sizing I stay with them. Travel I use a travel agent. It’s important to stop and think about your purchasing habits.

      Why would you need a middle man for travel in 2024 ?

    I used to shop at Walmart for 80% of what I bought, online purchases and groceries just 4 years ago. Now I shop 80% or more buying online and spread my grocery purchases at local grocery stores and Aldi. I now use Walmart as a quick trip, small purchases go to.

    • @sadfasde3108
      @sadfasde3108 23 дня назад

      Why? Local grocery is more expensive.

      @@sadfasde3108 Not where I live. Spread your list to 2-3 stores. Walmart does not have everything, better quality can be found at other stores with ads. This video is not realistic, wealthy people do not shop at Walmart regularly.

      Likely internal data. When shopping for food does that person buy brand name goods or the generic Walmart private label.

    I think the terms being used NEED to be changed to reflect reality. First, inflation/ cost of living IS higher than last year and the year b4 and the year b4 LIKE IT ALWAYS is. Inflation ISN'T at some DOOMSDAY level people. So when we say AFFLUENT people are now flocking to Walmart. THIS is NONSENSE. NO ONE WHO IS AFFLUENT IS GOING TO WALMART BECAUSE OF INFLATION OR ANY OTHER CURRENT ECONOMIC REASON. They may be going because they're frugal or because they like their products. However, the current level of inflation and/ or cost of living increase IS NOT AND WOULD NOT MAKE SOMEONE WHO'S, " AFFLUENT, " GO 2 WALMART WHEN THEY OTHERWISE WOULDN'T! WHEN YOU ARE AFFLUENT THE CURRENT ECONOMIC SITUATION IN TERMS OF COST OF LIVING ISN'T AFFECTING YOU IN ANYWHERE NEAR A LET'S SWITCH FROM GUCCI TO HANES, RALPH LOREN JEANS to.. WRANGLER JEANS, MID TO UPPER END MERCEDES 2 a well equipped Kia. THIS IS NOT WHERE WE ARE PEOPLE. THE INFLATION AND/ OR COST OF LIVING WOULD HAVE INCREASED FAR MORE FOR THIS BE OCCURRING. I THINK FOX AND IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE BUT TRUE EVEN LESS REALITY BASED LIL BROS AND SISTER LIE OUTLETS HAS GIVEN FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE 🧠 🐛'S. NOBODY WHO'S AFFLUENT IS GOING FROM LORD & TAYLOR OR NEIMAN MARCUS TO WALMART, DUE TO THE ECONOMY'S CONDITION. THESE NUMBERS IN COST OF LIVING WOULD BE VERY CLOSE TO OR ALREADY IN DEPRESSION LEVELS FOR THE AFFLUENT TO MAKE THIS KINDA MOVE. THIS CURRENT COST OF LIVING INCREASE IS HARDLY, IF AT ALL NOTICED BY THE AFFLUENT.
    IM NOT SAYING LOWER MIDDLE CLASS AND BELOW AREN'T FEELING IT. NOT AT ALL. I'D SAY QUITE THE OPPOSITE ACTUALLY. HOWEVER, THE NUMBERS ARE WHAT THEY ARE AND THE VERY DEFINITION OF AFFLUENT MAKES THE AFFLUENT NOT BE PHASED BY THESE CURRENT ECONOMIC NUMBERS.

    This is good news. Walmart doesn't care about us, why should we care about Walmart? Go have fun. Walmart, the richest company in the world that makes customers be employees, and doesn't pay the customers with their self checkouts.They also never have enough registers open because they don't care about customers. Less shopping, more amusement parks, arcades, waterparks, mini golf, museums, zoos, go karts, etc. If the economy is just shopping for hoarding needs, the economy needs to change right now. It's time to finally wake up, world.
