I was just looking for WHAT controllers you could connect, not how many at a time, but you've handily answered that and more. I don't think I have anything that NEEDS 7 controllers, but it's neat to know I can XD
Would you be able to connect a couple to the steam deck dock via a usb hub and some via bluetooth to get 8 controllers pretty reliably? Just wondering for those party games, would be cool to bring the steam deck and connect it to a screen for those games which require 4-8 players.
It depends on your bluetooth dongle. Most of them can only handle up to 4 at once and many struggle with even just 2. I have an old BT 4.0 dongle that does 4 just fine and can do more but I've never needed that many. Unfortunately, there isn't any particular bluetooth dongle that works perfectly. I've tested many of them and they all suck. Otherwise, you'd have to rely on wired connections but that's really not ideal for a living room setup like I have.

That should totally be possible, yes. I haven't tested it though.
You can. I've seen @retrogamecorp connect in that way in one of his reviews.
What if the controllers are the same make and model, will they conflict in pairing?
I wanna play four player co op with some friends would you reccomend just getting a usb splitter and connecting four controllers with usb?
If using an LCD Steam Deck you would probably be better off doing that, yeah. With the OLED model though, 4 wireless controllers should be no issue.
@@Moskeeto thanks, I have LCD. I think I’ll just do wired
How many controllers can we connect to a single pc? I have 6 controllers but my pc only accept 4 of them , can you suggest me some solutions

How many controllers can be connected to rog ally or legion go?
No idea. I don't own either of those devices.
Thanks for the video
