Love it when you do stories that are not just the usualcheating, crappy spouses. Don't get me wrong, I listen to those too 😅. Thanks for keeping me company for the last couple of years ❤

Yeah, as soon as bio mom had contacted me after abandoning me 30 years ago, that number would have been blocked out right.

“That bowl of porridge was the tastiest bowl of porridge I’ve ever eaten“. When Bethany said that to Callie, it left me in tears remembering when my then eight-year-old son brought me breakfast in bed on a Mother’s Day morning. He made me a bowl of corn bran cereal (🤢) and was extremely proud when he presented it to me. I thanked him profusely and in a slight state of panic I ate it fairly quickly (I was in a not-very-stable-bed-for-eating-cereal-and-milk waterbed) while repeatedly telling him how much I was enjoying it! I may not have liked the cereal, but he didn’t need to know that. My son was 48 when he passed away 3 1/2 years ago. I would buy all the cereal in the world if it meant he could bring me one more little bowl on a Mother’s Day morning and I know it would be the tastiest bowl of cereal I would ever eat.

The blood of the covenant is thicker than the waters of the womb.
Bethany most certainly found her covenant, her 'real' family where her sister in law saved her from being exploited by her trash of an egg donor.
In the words of Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy 2: Delia may be Bethany's mother, but she is not her mommy.

Finally, a story where the “brat” SIL acts like a true sister! Callie’s the MVP for sure here.

My father left when I was 2 months old. I found a half sister through ancestry and she had grown up with him. She told me who he was on Facebook so I friend requested him. He accepted but never said anything. I said hello first, he said hi back and that was about it lol. He died 3 weeks after I found him. Somehow just that tiny bit of communication with him told me everything I needed to know about our relationship (or lack thereof). Closure is awesome.

There’s a 12 year gap between my youngest sister and I. She turned into a know- it-all. Hahaha She found out later in life. Around 45-50.
There’s no shame in giving up your baby for adoption if you either are too young, not able to afford to raise the baby. It’s often the best thing for the child. I had a young co-worker who had twins girls and just couldn’t afford to work, raise them and give them a good home and upbringing. They were 7 months old when she came to me to talk about the difficulty of making a decision.
I have twin daughters so she came to me because she knew that I might give her some perspective. I don’t dish out advice, I let her talk about everything she was going through and her thinking.
I think that she needed someone who was nonjudgmental.
She ended up giving them to a really nice family. I was with her when she went to give them up. I helped her pack up their belongings for them. She only worked for a few months after and then went back to school.
    I pray for them all.

Yikes, is your fiance Callie's father or something? An allowance? He sounds like a mama's BOY, moving his new wife into his mom's house right after marriage.
Be careful what you wish for Bethany. Your birth mother abandoned you 30 YRS ago.
    Callie's so RUDE

Delia you only came back around because she was after some money. Callie might be young but she's smarter than most
